Went  to  go  some place  and had a dream that the arch demon saw us. Woke up and was attacked by darkspawn. When the fight was over the dwarves where gone. Is this supost to happen?  Where else can I get enchanting done?

Yes all friendlies are temporarily removed from camp for the fight. Simply leave and return to camp and everyone will be back in place.
