I have noticed squadmates are worse than Mass Effect 2. Even telling them to attack a target, the tend to just stay in cover for a few seconds while you soak up all the fire. Then once they do finally decide to start shooting the enemy, they die in two seconds.

I'd kill for a Dragon Age 2 style "Tactics" system

I'd much rather have the ME2 system. Using the squad button would always force Miranda to cast overload when the target had shields, always cast Warp against armor or barrier and when the target was under the effect of Pull or Singularity. No mapping powers required at all (for Miranda), but in ME3 squadmates always make the silliest decision possible. I guess that's another attempt to make the game "harder" :(

Mmm the only good thing in ME3, as others here said, its Squad mates had learned to use the covers

although Liara keeps dying in every mision (cant understand why she doesnt use her powers instead of the gun O_O)
For the rest yes they use powers but not as often as they did in ME2, most of the time I must tell em TO USE THEM, and about send em to some specific place or tell em to regroup, I HEAR YES SHEPARD, but... they arent moving...

The AI is slightly more responsive for ME3, such as heading to the nearest cover when they get attacked. Biotic combinations also helps offset their AI, since you could do it anytime now, and any squadmate with a particle rifles tears through targets like a hot knife through butter.
