I would like to "bump" this a bit as I think it sounds like one of the more reasonable and doable DLC requests on the forums right now, compared to the larger stuff others have been asking for (new classes, new gear, explore more of the world, chase after x or y character post-epligoue, etc.)

That being said, as mentioned earlier in this thread, it's a shame that it just doesn't feel the same if you don't have voice actors, with the old Infinity Engine games it was sufficient (at least for me, Kelsey Romance Mod anyone?) to just have text, but in this day and age, it's considered sub-par and I suppose it would be harder for me to relate to in the same manner as the fully voiced and 'deluxe' Bioware produced romances.

I would love this DLC to happen, though I dread the price of a fully voiced new romance complete with side quest and end-of-game index card entry, mind you that's not to say I wouldn't fork out anyway...

I think there could be room for it and some added impact. But we could use some more exploration into the deep roads, maybe a couple explorations into the fade, or perhaps some trips to Highever, something would be fun.

A nice mod or DLC would be wonderful.. My party & I have fought so many baddies, my eyes are starting to bleed.. not counting out all my battle scars and injuries that I have endured.

Someone please give this a good thought.. it would be refreshing indeed!

At risk of sounding very ungrateful and grumpy, one of the reasons I am asking the lovely Bioware to take on the job is that writing good romance/sex is damn hard to do.  They do it brilliantly, with the right balance between the humour, the soppy and the rude.

Badly written romance/sex is effing TERRIBLE, I mean really.  I know I implied in an earlier post that 'some of it was awful but who cares', well actually I do sort of care here, with characters that are already established.

A big confession here is that I have, in my time, played World of Warcrack and the unpleasant experience of having to run through certain areas with my pixelated fingers in my ears going 'lalalalalalalalalalalala' because of all the awful, awful, toe-curlingly bad cyber-shagging going on, is not to be born.  I mean really blush-makingly bad.  Have these people never hear of /whisper?  I actually told a couple off once, not because I was offended by what they were doing but that they were doing it so dreadfully.    lots of 'moaning' and 'looking into eyes' bleah yeuch *shudders*! Get a bloody room!

The modder is my hero, I really mean that, but it takes some skill and artistry to write good sex and I would rather leave it in the hands of the professionals so to speak.

But, don't get me wrong, if someone comes up with something good, I'll be first in the cue waving my suspenders in happiness.

I guess I would like to see more romance plots especially another female/female romance but that is just me.  I still want my spear weapon tier.  Another DLC could be that they bring an amazonian like woman who uses spears and can teach how to use them.  On the flip side, you could romance her.  Or just have some guy from a secluded place within Ferdlen(sorry in a rush) who uses spears and you could romance him.

Personally I'd also like to see more NPC specific quests. I was really really really hoping to be able to get some more out of the Antivan Crows ( why could I not have anything to talk about with Zevran regarding Ignacio or whatshisface? That's just weird. I would've liked to be able to ask Zev if I should kill the bastard and so on ).



Obviously, my main interest is Zevran but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more of all of those characters and especially romance/friend oriented dialogue. Alistair needs way more friend oriented dialogue, my bromance with him is way lacking



As for sex scenes. Meh... don't really care either way. Personally I find the ones already in the game so awkward I can barely look at them. And by awkward I mean the way they were made. The characters just don't have enough facial expression ( Leiliana's song anyone? ) and 3D bodies are just so very... stiff... It looks more silly then hot. Also, they're WAY too cheesy xD The only one I liked is Alistair + Morrigan because it's funny xD



Anyway, YES for this type of DLC. Do want!

Ah noretus, you are a braver man than I and I salute you.  I was trying very hard not to mention this bit because I clearly love the other stuff and I didn't want to put a sour note into my request but yes... the cutscenes... well.. um.. I find them unwatchable.  Just ... no.  I just skip over them.   But luckily for me it's not the cutscenes that count!

Anyway, YES for this type of DLC. Do want!

Yup. I would definitely be buying a romance DLC. I love Alistair and I want MOAR.



I'd like to know, also what's Bioware's take on this? Are they thinking about it? Is a romance DLC not being considered at all?

Hm......I think if people want to have more with romance and adult contents (not necessarily sex ) maybe they can put more of them in the novels instead.

But it would only satisfy people in the book fantasy world rather than virtual gaming though......but I think that's the least they could do cuz if adult content + NC 16 games or even up to 18, it would really affect game sales

oh and btw Morrigan isn't scary once you get to know her, imo She is the best one of them all, (but that might be because i sorta think like her??)
