I was playing some rounds of "Operation Resurgence" last night and had a very interesting experience. I was playing as a Geth engineer, and I got smashed from beind and knocked into the guard rail of a stairwell (on the new moon of Palaven base). I died because I couldn't get off the guard rail. When one of my team-mates revived me, I was still stuck on the guard rail, but looking down on myself - a Geth out of body experience, maybe?! Anyway, I couldn't get off the guard rail and my poor Geth was twitching around madly. I could still create Geth turrets and use overload, but my rifle would not fire and... I died. Again. And again. And then the next time I died, I flew upward and ended up sitting in the sky, looking down at the entire map for the remainder of the game (this happened in wave 3). So I basically became a Geth-god, looking down from above, firing turrets away and using overload, and still earning XP for assist kills. My rifle would not fire, and I could not escape the sky. Occasionally I died (like every single wave) and was resurrected when the rest of my team completed each wave. In essence, I was basically no use to to my poor team-mates whatsoever (we all died on wave 10).
Very weird. And not very much fun! And my team mates, I have no idea if they could see me floating up in the sky or if they just thought I was blooming useless (I pretty much was!) and hiding in a dark corner someplace!!
