None of the ME games support control and neither do the DA games. Why would they start now?

Having played Dragon age 2 on Pc and PS3, I found controller easier to play
Perfer games for PC, better service

If the keyboard doesn't function in a superior manner on the PC, this will be truly depressing and inexcusable.MichaelStuart wrote...

I support the option for people to play K&M and Controller, though.

It is good to have several options, but far more importantly, there is an increasing number of PC gamers who like or even need to use a controller, and DA has become consolified anyway. PC DA:O was very much a tactical game, and would have suffered from having a controller, but that wasn't the case with DA2 and almost certainly won't be the case with DA3.
Increasing numbers of people are hooking up their PC to big HDTV's (I already occasionally do so with my laptop, and I will get a dedicated gaming PC for the living room later this year), and it would be nice to be able to use a controller with DA3.
Moreover, I know (from personal experience but also from multiple comments on various forums) that for a lot of older gamers (30, 40+ and beyond) using a controller is ergonomically much better. There's a lot of us adult gamers who have, or will, develop various wrist complaints (RSI/carpal tunnel), and mouse/keyboard control schemes are extremely taxing, especially in the case of longish, mouse/keyboard intensive games like RPG's (or MMO's for that matter).
This often comes on top of intensive PC use at work and even at home (Internet...)...
In fact, I would now go so far as to say that, wherever it is feasible, the option to use a controller should be obligatory for PC games. Simply for ergonomical reasons.

To me, this is even more baffling than wanting a controller for DA. It's a shooter. You point-and-shoot. There's no better way to point than with a mouse. That's what a mouse is designed to do.Deviija wrote...

Its not the mouse that the problem. Its using the keybored for moving thats hard, especially when moving backwards and sideways. In mass effect you need to move quickly into cover or you get shot at. I found mass effect 3 on PC unplayable because of this.
Note: really it more of a comfort thing. Using a mouse and keybored involes using your wrists and most of your fingers, which get sore after a while, compared to controller which relly just needs your thumbs and index fingers.

Not to say that when a game is developed with the gamepad in mind, it's probably better to play it with the native setup. DA is a strange hybrid and it's not part of that family of games. But there are plenty of games for PC that are better to be played with a controller: Assassin Creed, Batman, Alpha Protocol and yes... even Skyrim (I've not tested it myself but there are people who suggests that even TW2 play better with a controller).
I know for sure that I would have liked ME3 gameplay more if I could have played it with a controller. So, I support the OP: give PC players the option to choose their favourite controller setup since it's allready been done for the Xbox and it's not going to cost a lot, I suppose.
Imho, it would even help the sales on the PC platform.

They allow same sex LI, but controller support is out of the question?

Personally, given the choice between a keyboard/mouse and a controller, I would choose the controller in almost every case (RTS games, MMOs and Diablo, I'll stick with a mouse and keyboard). I certainly prefer it in RPGs like Dragon Age and shooters like Mass Effect.
