So. It's been about a month since I first called EA about losing everything on multi-player after the "clicking Store while starting a match"-bug. They promised a patch that would restore everything from some sort of back-up that they could not access very easily, but it would be there within a few days.
Like I said. Been about about a month now. By now I've mostly regained my lost items, except for some Quarians I don't want, but no thanks to BioWare or EA. There's been no update yet to give me back anything. In the meantime I've not bought any new BioWare points because I lost plenty of them with the bug.
I'm going to call EA tomorrow to demand a refund or whatever for the points lost, as they can properly look into your points store. I advise anyone else to do the same. Be persistent. Don't let them get away with this crap by just ignoring it.

Calling them now. All of a sudden the guy on the phone can see EXACTLY what I have spent my BioWare points on, which last month they insisted they could not.

Apparently calling works. I got my points, rounded upwards, without any problems or hiccoughs. I advise doing the same instead of waiting for an update that makes no sense.
