I'm getting a little tired of seeing the same 4 or 5 instigators make threads spiral into pointless flame wars. It seems that reporting these trolls does absolutely nothing even though there are over two dozen moderators, supposedly. 

I'd really like to enjoy a discussion without having it spoiled by the same divisive and rude bad apples that are always guilty of the same behavior, but are never banned. 

An ignore feature would make this forum better for everyone.

Agreed. The current "ignore" function should also block posts.
