That made me laugh even more than the vid itself.

Doing a second playthrough with James, the guy's a much better character then people give him credit for. :/

Vega is good laughed every time he opened his mouth, he has some of the funniest lines in the "game" despite the Garrus one about the shadow broker if you bring liara (oh and Joker wondering if Liara has stopped bouncing boob joke). Wikia http://masseffect.wi...Unique_dialogue
EG: When Javik and James are brought on Priority: The Citadel James, when Phantoms appear, will say: "I just gotta say... Swords? Seriously?" To which Javik will answer: "Do not fear the weapon but the person who wields it" James Replies: "That's what I love about you buggy. You're like Sun Tzu, but with more eyes"

Watched some of the related videos, and I seriously need to bring Liara on the dreadnought mission because that exchange with the love triangle with her and Tali is great.
I rarely used Vega just because I had two other soldier type characters: Ashley and Garrus. I liked Vega just fine, but come on, he has some stiff competition at the party select screen. Usually I went with Garrus since it's really helpful to have another Overload available when you're an adept. And come on, it's Garrus.Animositisomina wrote...
I feel like a hipster d-bag saying this, but I already saw this in-game. I'm kinda surprised more people haven't seen it yet... but Vega does seem to be strangely hated around here. I'm not a huge fan of him myself, but c'mon. He's not *that* bad, and this scene was hilarious.
Direct one-on-one conversatoins with him are rather lacking. It's the other stuff like him interacting with others and random comments that are much better.balmyrian wrote...
Not sure why he gets so much bad rap, he's such a fun character.

I really do like Liara more because of that video. She knows she's been rejected and she accepts it and stays professional.
I've never seen it mind you as I never brought a save forward where I cheated on her, but I like that she's adult about it.
As opposed to Ashley...

Yeah, I've always liked James. Him and Garrus in the mess hall comparing stories was one of my favorite scenes in the game.

While funny, I STILL would've preferred a scene like this be handled by a past squaddie.
Like Grunt.
He's a cool dude, but I'll never forgive him for taking up a slot on my team.
