A lot of this is OUR fault.

I actually agree with the OP in this regard. People complained about ME1 having to much exploration so they toned it down in ME2. People complained about the Mako in ME1 and they removed it in ME2. People complained that the inventory systems was overburdening the player and hey they simplified it. The same can be said for ME2 with people complaining that there were no Mako-esqe missions in the game so we were given the Firewalker DLC.
No boss fights in ME3 from the BSN. Really big plot twists that were speculated upon till nothing but a flame war was left in the thread, BSN. A lot of what the game is comes from the BSN and Bioware listening. Funny how that works. The BSN doesn't get what they want they complain, they get what they want and they still complain and if worse comes to pass Bioware is evil and satanic for whatever reason the BSN decides.
The BSN provides feedback, which after seeing the reaction of that feedback through ME2 and ME3 as well as DA:A and DA2 the only thing I have come to consider is that Bioware needs to stop listening to the BSN.
Nothing you said there was remotely close to being true. For example, you're completely off-base on the boss fight. You should read the Final Hours App, which discusses the ending. The Boss fight was removed because they were concerns it was too "video gamey." It was a decision by Casey Hudson.
If you want to blame the BSN for the ending or other problems in the game, just realize that's it's your own head cannon. Not anything remotely close to reality. I hate when people just trash Bioware employees without any proof. Doing it to fan posts is equally disingenious.

We all sit here and whine and groan about how Bioware doesn't consider or listen to its fans enough, and that most of the problems with ME3 are because of that.
However, I think that the case is just the opposite; Bioware listens to us, and they listen to us too much.
...End of line...
We the fans are just too stu..stu..stupid to understand their artsy fartsy ending.

This thread's still going? Pretty much every post has invalidated the argument of the OP, I think it's run its course.
But there's so much trolling we could do to get this entire convo locked =O I refuse to let it die it needs to be destroyyyyeeeeeddddd.
More Speculation! MORE SPECULATION FOR EVERYONE!

Or they could just be like Assasins Creed 3 guy and save themselves of all the aggravation.
Least the AC guy is straight forward and honest. Gotta respect that if anything.

Sure, the ending was confusing and no real conclusion - especially since it didn't seem to really fit into the setting the first two games came up with. But if the overall tone of most of the feedback Bioware gets is "GRR BIOWARE YE BE MAKING CRAP OUTTA ME FAV'RITE GAME!", who is to blame for Bioware not wanting to rewrite the ending?

We never wanted them gone altogether, we wanted them improved. And by not taking the time and energy needed to actually innovate, yeah, that's Bioware's fault for removing them altogether.

It's a case of 'fans who cried wolf', everyone spent so much time complaining about pointless things that when an actual problem rears it's head nobody takes them seriously.
Bioware gets s**t on by their fans no matter what they do at this point, how is it a surprise they've grown resentful?
There will always be criticism. We didn't **** on Bioware. We bought every game they came out with. We bought Mass Effect 3 after the DA2 fiasco. We still want this game to be saved. If we didn't, we'd stop posting on these forums.

Mordimor, I agree with your claim. There is a point where we should let the game makers do their job. This is the U.S.A. after all, if someone thinks they can do better by all means, they have the ability to go ahead & start their own game developer.
I remain mystified when even the OP backs down on parts of his post half-way through the thread.
While some people have offered technical advice on a particular program, most of the info that Bioware gets from these forum is EXACTLY what they would have to pay to get to through focus groups and other mechanisms to ascertain customr sastification. Bioware benefits like any other company when it gets info on what its customers want. It's normally a net positive. (Although I think the current negative tone might be a bit too far...)
Just watch that. It's Bioware fans cheering when the company acknoweledges its feedback. You can also see how Bioware processes its fan feedback. If you played DA2, you also realize how valid some of these criticisms were.
There are some people who just trash the game, etc, but most of hte people who offer suggestions are genuinely trying to improve the game.

I didn't back down on anything. Just clarified my post for those who misunderstood what I was trying to say, twice, and people still don't get it. Too obsessed with the ending.
I still think that there's a lot of complaining for the sake of complaining on these forums, and that several of the things we are complaining about are in the games because we complained. haha
In other words, I still stand by my original point.

The Mako was bad.
Reaper baby was bad.
The first was bad because the controls were shoddy, the environments bland, the physics engine terrible, and there was little reason to explore. It had nothing to do with people not wanting to explore. That was a fantastic idea in and of itself. BioWare decided to REMOVE THE FEATURE COMPLETELY.
The second was bad because the concept of a child Reaper was, at the time, really weird and stupid. It was not largely disliked because it was a boss fight. We know for a fact that a boss was on the cards at one point, but was scrapped. BIOWARE MADE THAT CHOICE.
There's literally nothing to back up your point, literally nothing.
