PLEASE ban kicking on bronze!

But I haven't played a Bronze game in a while, so I don't know. Once you get the hang of it, you'll want to go up to Silver. Although people really will kick out your level one Vanguard there...
My advice....keep searching. If I hear an annoying voice right when I hit the lobby, I'm gone. I keep looking until I find a match with the right people. There are some non-elistist, non-jerks on Multiplayer. Trust me, if there wasn't, I wouldn't play it.

I hate when that happens..... once in between waves (but i found batteries before I died). Once during extraction which isn't too dramatic.Pax of Doom wrote...
That happened to me tonight. Mouse batteries died in wave 10, happily died and ran around the house looking for a battery, got it set up just in time for extraction. It doesn't always mean someone is hiding. You can usually tell if someone is AFKing for easy stuff, as everyone dies and view switches to the last person hiding in a corner.
I got kicked two days ago in Bronze because I didn't have a mic Oo
I was N7 180+ . . .
Then yesterday I played Gold random for the first time. I hosted as a Salarian Engineer. Still without a mic. And nobody left and we survived without communicating. It does work.

I hate new players being kicked in bronze, infact i'll usually go out my way to watch their back (don't want someones first experience of the game to be getting kicked or ko'd and not revived), I don't even like kicking in silver for low level as i've regularly seem friends at sub level 5 outscore level 20 players on silver. Expecting high levels on gold is reasonable, there will be gaming gods who can solo gold with a level 1 volus carrying only Specialist Traynors toothbrush but they are rare.
On a level cap for bronze, please no.
I'm good with an Engineer or an Infilrator and I can happily hold my own in silver or gold (If i'm in a good team) but I'm pretty useless with a Krogan soldier. I do enjoy playing as one though, running around headbutting things with relative ease and for that reason even though i'm n7 200+ with good weapons I like the option of a less difficult game on bronze, where I can play the characters i'm less effective with without having to be revived every round or two.

Kicking is a necessary feature, else a player could just go AFK forever in the lobby and force everyone else to leave, which is a shame sometimes when you have a nice team.

Even had a host ragequit half way through wave 10 =/
I have noticed that if anyone goes offline and quits group then there's no replacement for the player anymore, was that stopped now ? on a side note: the times where i've been in groups where we 3 manned the whole thing i've lost count of. Infact some of these 3 man groups were more fun as everyone looked out for each other all the more.

I'll kick people in bronze for a couple reasons.
1. Not readying up within a reasonable timeframe. Pick your powers before joining a match, please.
2. Going AFK in the match and letting everyone else carry you. Pull your weight.
3. Trolling / Griefing. If you take an SMG and follow around your teammates shooting them to screw with their aim, you're gone. Same goes for the idiots playing music over their microphones.
Aside from that? I might mock you behind your back for your idiocy (an adept with a mantis and a mattock? really?) but I won't kick you.

I don't like playing with Drell (I can't stand the constant Drellstep from Reave) and find it boring to play Bronze with Human Vanguards or Krogans as you don't really get a chance to do anything. But generally I prefer to leave rather than kick unless I'm playing with friends.

Maybe they can't play on Silver and Gold because they suck, and they kicked you because they didn't want you to laugh at them for being terrible?

+1
Thankfully, all those three are pretty rare. I don't mind chilling on Bronze with my level 20 characters. It's a nice break from gold difficulty, and if I end up carrying a low level team I don't really mind.

Bronze is easy enough where even if the true level 2 does decide to go in and start whacking at a group of pyros it's really not a big deal. So you have three people. you've got waves of like 10 people to kill. No big deal.. there is no proving yourself. you can play horribly on bronze that's what it's for.
if you are kicking anyone on bronze you're a Douche. End... OF... Story..
Bronze is certainly the level on which to learn the game and get your characters to level 10+. That doesn't mean that every Bronze game is "for" playing horribly. As a pure, direct democracy, a game is for what the majority of its players decide it is for (within fairly broad limits of hate speech, etc.).
The events described by the OP are unfortunate. They aren't worth banning the ability to kick on Bronze over. The OP has, through the course of registering complaints, found several gamers willing to help him get started, which means he can't be kicked out of a game with one of these players in it because the three necessary votes won't be available. Sounds like a good outcome.

So did I.
But that level 14 had a Black Widow and an incredibly high N7 rating.
Not to mention that he proved to be more of a help than the other level 20s...

I disagree about an N7 cap for Bronze as my N7 rating is starting to go up a bit but I'm still a LONG way from having good enough equipment for Silver (and I know I'm not good enough yet as well).
