 I was hoping the 1.03 patch would fix some of my game freezing errors, but alas, it still crashes the game for me.

Every time I go into the "Squad" menu screen on singleplayer or "Powers" on multiplayer, all I see is the blue background and my controller's buttons freeze (except for the PS button). This forces me to have to restart the game and try again. This happens about 95% of the time. Every now and then I'm lucky and it works as it should.

It as if the exp/powers overlay isn't being loaded correctly. I've tried different discs and I've even tried my save file on different PS3 systems, and still no luck figuring out why it does this.

It doesn't matter if I use a character imported from ME2 or a fresh character.

I've posted about this before (few months ago). Anyone else experiencing this?

Still bummed I can't play the game...especially since you have to go into the "Squad" screen before any mission on singleplayer.

When I play single player and go to the squad menu it freezes as soon as I exit. It doesn't matter if I'm just leveling up only Shepard or the whole team. Sometimes when I go into my journal and check missions, as soon as I exit the menu it locks up. There is sound ( on Mars you can hear the storm ) but only way to get out of it is to hold down the PS button and turn off the system. After this happened a few times the other day I stopped playing SP. I only played a few MP matches.

I am stuck in the docks in the citadel. Can't go anywhere else thanks to the stupid elevator bug.
Crashes EVERY time.
EVERY time Bioware. 11 times in a row. Crash.

All the while my multiplayer % score shrinks, while I can't get on with the game. Aaaarggghhhhhhh.

Patch 1.03 didn't really address any of the issues on the PS3. It was mainly just to fix the face import thing it seems, which I didn't really care about anyway. It's not like it's all that hard to create a new face you like. I'd much rather have important things fixed like say being able to play the game without worrying the next freeze and hard reset won't be the one that fries my ps3. :-/

Yea the patch was disappointing to say the least.

Here's the rich part: It didn't even fully address the face import problem!
