Victorious and uplifting!

And artistic. Don't forget about how it's artistic.

It's amazing how that gets pasted places Bioware never claimed.

And repeated for things it has no bearing on, as if it were somehow witty or novel to repeat it.

Which part? Casey did say the ending was "uplifting and inspiring", and it was the embodiement of "victory and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection". Those are directly from him.

That elevator was very uplifting

:D

All three endings were really unique. Red was explosively exciting, Blue was shockingly satisfying, but Green was kind of a downer, when I jumped.

What three endings? I only saw 16 distinctive different endings, each unique to its own. I can definitely see why people love ME3 ending so much.

I hear ya OP that final battle scene was so all-encompassing. I was so glad I spent three games amassing a galactic flotilla, it was soooo worth it!!!

Btw did I mention I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale, $5.00 take it or leave it.

The shots from the main ships have always been yellow... and you did get an exploding Reaper or two.

Lazy viewer is lazy.

There is no reason to put them yellow instead of blue. Not to be offensive, but WHY wouldn't the Alliance, Turians, Asari, and Salarians (because let's face it, nobody else has enough money/military power to pull that off) retrofit their cruisers with these guns? Something that hardcore. . . ESPECIALLY the Alliance. The Batarians hate humans, they've had Geth attacks on colonies, mercenaries and pirates are constantly trying to prey on them. . . AND WE BELIEVE IN THE REAPERS! Why not have the Alliance, at least, retrofit their main cruisers with these nasty nasty weapons? There's no reason they wouldn't at least TRY.

PS. using past execution as an indication of future actions is flawed logic. The shots from main cannons were yellow in ME1. ME2 had Normandy's blue Thanix Cannon, and the Collector Ship's yellow particle cannon (for some odd reason, particle weaponry is team colorable). There wasn't a real reason to stick with the colors 3, except for . . . actually, I can't really think of one.

Plus, we had ONE Reaper lose a tentacle. None of the Reapers exploded/died/got destroyed. Not like Sovereign in ME1.

Does Normandy in ME3 even have Thanix cannons?

I don't even consider the Alliance Normandy to be..the Normandy. They changed it into a garbage ship.

Anyway, yeah, the end of the game is a disaster. Didn't just start with starchild, started way before that.

Am I the only one that actually prefers the the Alliance-retrofitted Normandy to the Cerberus variant? I guess I just like it when warships don't give off a sense of being on a luxury vessel.

I liked how they specifically included a scene in ME2 to re-enforce the fact that these are very powerful weapons that require careful aiming and restrained use. Then you see them in ME3 and you'd think they were playing with paintball guns the way they spray out rounds.

Watch the ending and count the number of shots that miss. Then remember that that big round thing behind the Reapers is Earth.

What really left me satisfied was the results of saving the Destiny's Ascension during the final battle. One of the largest and most unique Dreadnaughts in the galaxy really made the difference.

Little did I realize what I was setting in motion in the first game.

Went down? I had a bunch of Geth ships sweep in to protect it. Working together, they took down a Sovereign-class Reaper with ease. Felt very poetic.
