This is the only part I really hate in RPGs. Running out of item space is really, really, annoying. I have five item spaces left and I'm at the beginning of the Gauntlet for the Urn of Sacred Ashes. I hear there is a shortcut back to the entrance of the whole thing if I go through the Ruined Temple. If so, can I easily reach the top of the mountain through that shortcut again? I need to sell items and put them into my camp storage chest.

You can buy bags that increase your personal inventory, up to 125 depending on the number of bags you buy from vendors, also you can sell items to the merchant in camp and rebuy them as needed for what you sold them for. That at least lets you revolve your coin.

Or edit the game with the Toolset. I did that to get an inventory max at 100, not 70 as default.

WhiteRaven101, I truly wish i was confortable doing that, but I am computer illiterate which limits what I can do in the game quite a bit

It only requires you to change the number. I did it at the start of my most recent game (set to 999) and have only one main quest to do before the Landsmeet - game is fine.

There have been posts by devs about stability when the inventory number gets too high... it could be a console only thing though. For what it is worth, I have an older PC and put the inventory at 250, never had a problem.
