I've seen a few people on the PC board who have it or say they do, but barely any one the console version.

It takes about a billion reloads to get to drop, and it has the text description of Duncan's Shield. I honestly don't think it's supposed to drop at all.  As far as I'm aware, it also has the same stats as Duncan's Shield.

But Duncan's shield can only be used by Alistair, the Warden's Tower Shield doesn't.

Oh well, I'm currently on my 22nd reload.

Does it actually have a Restriction: Allistair line on it? I was under the impression it was more like Zevran's Antivan Leather Boots than Sten's sword.  I comepltely missed it my last time through however.

Edit: I just loaded an old save, went and got Duncan's Shield - you have to give it to Allistair, but anyone can use it afterwords, as I thought.

Good thing thats an easy and short fight

Doing that Warden zombie fight like 30X is about the same as being forced to do Gaxkang like 7 times right?

See my edit. Once you've gifted it to him, anyone can use it.

Duncan's shield is a gift, and can only be obtained just before the Landsmeet.

You get Duncan's sheild after rescuing Riordan prior to Landsmeet in Arl Howes dungeon. He gives u code to Grey Warden storehouse, you gift duncans sheild to Al, and then anyone in your party can use it... at least on PC. Can't steal it fromDuncan afaik.

All my playthroughs were different difficulties. The speech I always did was I demand she close the portals before I go to the tower. After going to the tower I just betray her.

Warehouse in Denerim there is a bookcase you click on after talking to Riordian and it opens up the secret area. Also the traveler achievement is the only one I have never been able to get either I think its bugged.

No this after you talk to him at Arl Eamon's estate. Its in the warehouse near the shop wonders of thedas.

Ok just popped in my game and took a look. Across from Wonders of Thedas in the same alleyway there is a place called "Warehouse". Inside there is a place with 2 dresser/cabinets against the wall, after the guy tells you about the storage you can activate it to move it and go inside and get the shield.

Also to the guy who made the topic what choices are you making in the place I wonder if that affects the chance of it dropping.

I agree its really annoying especially since I didn't know about Fade Wall either until my third playthrough.
