By saying good, I mean the effeicience in terms of combat.
Has anyone made a totally butt kicking Warrior in the game, that they could solo it on Nightmare difficulty?
I guess this might be a question about class balance, I have read Mage and Rogue being able to solo through the game on NM.
I have personally used a Rogue on NM, and once on Normal, and I have gotten to the point where I could believe that the Rogue class can indeed solo the game, while Mage has no problem in doing so at all.
However, I have played a Warrior a little bit, I just don't see that he has the offensive power enough to kill all things, nor the suvrine ability to tank everything on its own, you are better to play a mage and turn Arcane Warrior for that matter.
So is the warrior class any good?

Yes its good, it can even be great. I thought a shield spec warrior was pretty darn good. None of the getting smeared into the ground easily bit. Killing things tended to be fairly slow. But I did have a trusty shield.
Also, I was a templar/reaver build. The ae attack from templer build helps deal a decent bit of damage, and get critters off your back if needed. The ae damage spell for reavers, while it damages you also damages all your enemies, a very equitable trade I found. Heck, my warrior build was able to kill every revenant I came across, solo. None of my other characters could pull that trick.

you can't really solo nightmare with a warrior build. Possibly you could if you invested in potions and carried 50+ health pots with you, but other than that there's just no way. The only reason a rogue can solo is because of stealth and/or having a pet. The only reason mage can solo is because they have massive DPS and incredible CC or they are an AW which has twice the defense your warrior could ever have.
That said, DW warrior is pretty broken. You can't solo on nightmare but I duo on nightmare with either Wynne or Morrigan. But soloing on nightmare doesn't really do anything for you except sound cool. There's no real skill invovled solo'ing with an AW. Just invest in the right talents and auto attack your way through the whole game. Get BM on the off chance you'll need to CC a little (you almost never will). And solo rogue is equally as boring, just in a different way. Who the hell wants to pull one enemy at a time, stealth away, wait for talents to recharge, and do that again and again?

Do you have an AW/whatever cheese build? If you do and they can't solo revenants, that's saying something.Mavkiel wrote...

No, I avoid aw for just that reason. Figured if I wanted to breeze through everything I'd simply reduce the difficulty level instead.
