I've been extremely disappointed in the poor treatment of both  Zevran's and Leliana's romance post Dragon age: Origins. When compared to Alistair and Morrigan, they were never given a proper happily ever after and their romances just receive a  bland, buggy, and un-fulfilling ending. With Alistair, you could marry him and become the ruler of an entire nation. You could travel to great beyond with both Morrigan and your child through the mirror. Zervan and Leliana it was just, "I continued to travel with my beloved for a bit, but then we parted ways."

Then there's the bugs...

In vanilla D2 , Leliana and Zevran ,who I note is still in fact bugged, wouldn't even acknowledge the Warden's romance during their respective cameos. What makes matters worst is an unromanced  Zervan would actually bed with  Isabella during his encounter. 

The message I got with this was"  Too bad you romanced Zevran in the last game. Due a bug we're too lazy to fix,  you now get to watch him bang another woman even though he was suppose to remain faithful to you!"

I just want to see the romances have a long term affect on the game rather than pull a Thane/Jacob Taylor on the player and have them  either completely forget about the romance or dump the pc for another.

I think David Gaider said they were looking to clean up imports for the next game.

I completely agree with you though. It's immensely disappointing and frustrating dealing with these kinds of bugs. Thankfully I knew about the Zevran romance problem before I imported that save so I just didn't bring Isabela with me and it was fine. I can't imagine what it would have felt like to stumble into the unaware. *shudders*

I think they need to show a more indepth summary of our choices like the Mass Effect 3 which on import showed who you romanced across two games. Hopefully if they do show that they'll give us the ability to fix whatever comes up wrong.
