 What if Bioware made pre ending DLC, such as something related to Omega (and perhaps the Omega 4 Relay) in which you do a bunch of cool things, maybe meet up with Aria and stuff. But the end result nets you something that either adds to the ending (such as another option) or allows for different changes. Maybe you go into the Omega 4 relay and find something related to the Collectors, and you "add it on" to the Crucible which gives you more options in the end.

That could be cool.
