 So it happened once yesterday.... Dashboarded restarted and was fine. Now it refuses to work. The game is broke.

Same. Played last night just fine. Now it gets stuck on "checking downloadable content" at startup, and I can't get past it.

that DL Content check that pops up for a second time is causing issues...and with the present Face Import Patch, it's practically made the game inoperable unless you rubn through a buntch of preverbial hoops to make it work. This problem form what I found out began mostly on PS3, and slowly started to pop up on Xbox and PC. It's acting like a virus and not so much a glitch...i'm starting to think the pathc may ahve contained a virus that has intyegrated itself into the patch upon downloads.

Same, got past it once by switching the disc but thats not working now either. This game has more issues than Skyrim. Unhappy I cant play a game I paid $80 for!

EDIT: workaround?
Unplugged the ethernet cable, start up the game, let it load, plug the cable back in, connect to xbox live and EA servers. 

I still shouldnt have to do this s**t to play the game.
