Awesome pictures. I like their props, especially Mordin with the seashells!
I didn't even know these were out already. The local comic shop I bought the others from said May 30th. D:

Nice pics, SE! Yeah, sorry. I don't take the best pictures, I suppose. I need a light tent.redplague wrote...

^This. Also thanks for all the pictures. As someone who is an avid action figure enthusiast, I am loving this topic.
Quite welcome! This thread is for people, like yourself, who are fans that also collect. Everyone passing judgement really ought to remind themselves where they are. While the articulation needs work, the sculpting is much improved over the first series. So, they're much more photogenic.
And yeah, I'll likely go nuts with the Play Arts Kai stuff.

Thank you for the pictures - after seeing them I am pleased that I skipped these and decided to invest in the upcoming Play Arts Kai - figures. I've pre-ordered the announced three figures and hopefully can pre-order more stuff from Play Arts Kai after SDCC!

I finally picked up the Shep, Garrus, and Tali. My Garrus' face is disappointing (the paint job is terrible).
Despite that, I'm probably going to grab the rest of the figures since Mordin, Grunt, and Legion all look great.
Are they going to continue this line with more figures (Series 3 and so on...), or is this all we're going to see?

That's a bit of an oversized Claymore in the 4th picture isn't it

Garrus and Tali Riding upon Grimlock is officially the greatest thing I have ever seen!

Haha, glad you like!
And nope, no series 3. These things were sculpted years ago, and got bogged down in the untimely divorce between DC and Bioware. There may have been others that made it past the prototype phase, I guess we'll never know.
Yeah, there's no way in hell that I buy these things if I wasn't such an immense fan of the franchise. DC makes awful toys, across the board. They're fun, but Play Arts is clearly the way to go. If you can get past the fact that one Play Arts toy costs nearly as much as four of the DC Direct figures.
Kinda hoping they roll out few more figures in the line. I'd buy a Femshep.
