I looked at its stats when I unlocked it. Why's it so damn heavy?
















Back to the Carnifex for me. Similar damage output, much less weight.

You have to not think of the talon as a pistol, but rather a shotgun. As far as shotguns are concerned it has surprising range (not as much as the GPS, but it is a hell of a light lighter), and it is for me the easiest to handle. If you are using an Asari or Drell with heavy pistol weight reduction but want to use a shotty, look no further.

It's only really for the shotgun people, but it makes a significantly reliable side arm.

I've never used it and mine's at level V. Utterly outclassed by the other level X shotguns in the armoury.

It makes no sense that a pistol the size of Talon weighs as much as an Eviscerator. WTF. What is it made of, uranium?

But yeah, back on topic: I actually like the Talon. I use it when I'm bored of the Carniphalanx and want to use another kind of pistol. It's great to have variety.

Stick a scope on it to improve its grouping and range, and the gun is a monster at mid range. Used with a scope and Marksman specced for accuracy on a Turian Soldier, its grouping is practically pinpoint. Level 1 Talon deals 519 damage on a full hit. For comparison, level 1 Paladin deals 389 and Black Widow deals 514.

Hmm. Apparently it's popular with some Asari Adepts, and I've seen a Krogan Sentinel carry it as a sidearm, but that's about it.

Human Inf.... Talon only. It's all i roll with now. It's what shotguns should be, and yet it's a pistol.

its beast, ways as much as a paladin,but i think its better, it does good damage to shields armor health etc.

Not to mention the GPS already has crazy good range to begin with. And weight should not be an issue when you're using a talon that's already fairly heavy. If you're concerned over weight, use a disciple.
