Me? I'm going with the Human Noble cause i always pick the character i feel suits me the most so i can sort of play myself in my first playthru and that way have a deeper experiance of the game. Tho that could be me being boring. = /

I do reckon the Mage origin looks the most interesting tho so that'll deffintely be my second playthru, and by then hopefully i'm comfortable enough with the game that my mage won't be so squishy (as they tend to be when you first play em in most games).

I will probably play the City Elf, cause I got sold on the wallpaper quote for them, being all nothing too loose thingy, and the city elf seem too have a rich story to explore

Well of course, i think everyone will.  Look at NWN, Baldur's Gate, SW:KotOR, JE and ME. All of them had just one starting story and how many times did you end up replaying them? Me? LOADS!!! = p

City Elf. My next will be a mage though. I love mages, but I love scrappy rogues too, and city elf seems tailored to a great rogue backstory.

City Elf (female, see avatar I R SO PROUD OF HER <3), but dwarf noble is a really close second, and thusly will be my second playthrough, unless I find out something earthshatteringly awesome about the Dwarf Noble Origin.

My avatar's Dalish elf first. I eventually want to get around to playing them all, but I have no idea what I'll play after the first time. I'm torn between switching back and forth between my male and female characters, or just playing all my males first, then the females.

It seems like you'll be limiting your experiance A LOT if you decide to do that with this game. There would be only two of the starting Origin stories you would be able to experance with that philosophy.
