And now after reading how they are just going to try to fill the plotholes, i think its time to move on, if there is a new game from Bioware/EA i will wait until i read GAMERS reviews, then if its good after a few months buy it when drops price.

But at least Highlander 2 showed you pretty early on what a complete and utter mess it was. Mass Effect 3 strings you along, sprinkling in lots of awesomeness along the way...right up until the ending...
All right. So it's WORSE than Highlander 2?

I come to this thought because I found out its Shepards voice behind the catalyst's own voice...It made the I.T. the truth and not a theory anymore.

Yeah, the Mass Effect series was absolutely awesome, one of the best ever.
But you know what? Such is life. I'm sure the Bioware team poured their souls into making ME3 within budget and time constraints
.... I'm just about ready to move on. I may give the game another chance whenever the DLC comes out - for that reason, I won't be selling ME3
I'm dropping the emotion and moving on.
So Best of luck to all those who work at Bioware in your future endeavors. I may not be there any more for your games (or who knows, perhaps fan reviews for Dragon Age 3 will prompt me to buy it!), but I do wish you all well.
Good for you. It's nice to hear someone who acknowledges reality and their place. I'm sure you'll be back because DA3 is sounding very good if they put in half of what I'm hearing and seeing on it.
Yeah cuz BioWare has such a rock steady reputation for honest integrity when it comes to pre-release hype.

There would be no issues if you stated "due to time restraints we had to come up with something...". Deadlines I understand...Lies I do not.
However, since it is way beyond obvious that you are NOT listening, nor will you EVER entertain the notion that the ending, as it stands, IS a mistake. Not too mention all of the PR speak that you continue to utilize that is nothing more than an insult to your core fans...well...I just find I just don't really care that much anymore. I am close to becoming completely apathetic in regards to this series.
When I go to PAX Prime, I will probably be wearing a shirt that will let the ending's creators know what I think...

Definitely. Highlander 2 didn't punch you in the gut. You immediately knew you were dealing with hacks who destroyed the storyline for no good reason. ME3 was pretty damn wonderful up until the end. But I digress - again, I'm positive they didn't intend for this result to occur. We're all human, even those who screwed up Highlander 2.

Then they think it's ok to do it again... i don't think so.
Don't get me wrong, there is damage. Apathy and forgiveness is significantly different than rabidly awaiting their new game arrivals. I won't be doing that anymore. Again, I'm pretty darn positive nobody at Bioware wanted to see the reaction to this game that they've seen. Even if in fact they were trying to be too cute by half with the ending in hopes of releasing a paid DLC ending, I'm guessing they no longer think this was a good approach. In fact, I'm guessing most big releases will look at this fiasco as a warning - I doubt we see any more incomplete endings in big release games for a while.

I'm very rapidly approaching the point of just not giving a flying **** anymore. It just seems so... Pointless. I'll reserve my absolute final judgement till after the EC. If that sucks, then I will proceed to give no more ****s about Mass Effect and move on to something else (possibly The Witcher or something like that... Or finish Skyrim...)
Dude, finish Skyrim...play it with a completely different character...I did three of them.

As long as the extended cut does something about the Normandy and the lack of an actual epilogue.
That said, it doesn't mean I'm going to trust BioWare for future releases. I'm going to be very cautious, and very likely not purchase their games at full price (if at all).

I've been trying to start my second playthrough and I'll admit I just can't get thereI'm starting at ME1 and I can't even bring myself to play it.
^This. I played through once just to see how it ended with the intention of restarting ME1 for a marathon perfect trilogy of games with my manShep and femShep and ... <sigh>
The rage is gone, depression is fading, but I cannot shake the thoughts of what could have been. A game that made me fall in love with a virtual blue alien, want to drink a beer with another virtual alien, and really mourn the deaths of two more virtual aliens and a robot was something I never expected to experience.
Having to watch as it was abandoned to "artistic vision" (read "corporate greed") is beyond sad. Bioware sold out to EA who took an amazing RPG and turned it into a mediocre horde mode co-op FPS. GG guys, I'm not coming back for more.

I've come to the conclusion that I can accept (not like, but accept) the ending if I simply assume that the Star Child is lying his incorporeal ass off about being the Catalyst, controlling the Reapers, and that destroying the Reapers will also destroy other synthetics.

Good for you. I don't really accept the ending, I just no longer care about it as much. It was a fiasco that I'm sure if Bioware had a do-over, it would have turned out differently. The game designers and writers working on the ending (be it 2 people or the entire organization) screwed up, plain and simple. But as Simon and Garfunkle once said, "Time hurries on, and the leaves that were green turn to brown..."
In life, not everything turns out like we like, sometimes we don't understand why. Why should games always be different?

Now I simply can't understand why the ending can be so special.....I mean it's a total 0/10 while everything else in ME3 gets an 8/10~9/10
