Yes...I am geting over "it" too, as am I the whole mass effect franchise entirely. Havent done another single playthrough since. BW gave an answer, nor do I longer care as a Fan AND Customer.

Yet, you are still here. Don't get me wrong, I hope you stick around, but you must still hope for something?

The only reasons I'm still here is

1, I'm still p***ed off

2, For my fellow ME fans

if they dont fix the ending, after dragonage III, im not buying another bioware product ever again. I might resort to a used copy, but im never buying a new product.

The day I "get over it" or "move on" will be the day I breathe my last and not a second before.

I'll never get over "it" but I will move on as will my pocket, I'm done with Biowares games, if they want to go into the action/FPS style game then I won't be supporting them anymore. My day's of showing blind faith in Bioware are forever gone as is my buisness, I will not be putting with being lied to so I'll take my buisnes elsware.

Well, at least they have you for Dragon Age 3.  For all we know, in DA3, Allistar might end up being Morgana's long lost brother or something, while dragons at the end are proven to be misunderstood - really they are fallen knights who lost their swords or some such.  Give'em a chance - they can screw that one up too, I'm sure!

Finding out that Morrigan and Alistair are related would be terrible, considering that I had them do the ritual in Dragon Age: Origins.

Every time I think I'm over it, marketing pulls a rabbit out of their hat and makes me angry all over again. At this rate, no, I'll never be over it.

EXACTLY.  But can you honestly say it would be worse than the ME3 ending? I think not.

So I was at Best Buy just a few minutes ago - Skyrim, which was released forever ago LAST YEAR is still at $59.99. Mass Effect 3, released what, a month ago? Already down to $39.99.

This may be the biggest drop off in sales percentage-wise this early - like franchise killing. A vocal minority hates the ending indeed. NOT.

I had those great plans to go through the trilogy at least twice (paragon/renegade or various big decisions). I started ME1, felt the magic and then tought: why the hell would I do this? It'll just end with space magic.

I enjoy MP and I will continue playing it. Will I ever play through the trilogy? Yep.
But only to experience first hand various outcomes (like finally slaying the Rachni) or shagging Liara for the first time (that was my plan for the ultimate playthrough).

I know that the EC will make some things less idiotic, but the outcome will not change.

BioWare lost it's soul when they got bought by EA, which is and always has been about money only. The moment they improved was when FIFA was owned by PES. Had competition, made a good game. The same goes for BF3.

ME didn't have any competitors so it was a sure sell.
EA proved one thing. They're a undereducated group of cheap bastards.
Instead of making a milk cow like CoD and assuring, that EVERY future installment from the ME franchise would be a huge success, they went for one time big pay-off.

In years to come many will see that. But it will be too late.
Another franchise will rise, other studios will keep on mocking them (I don't fancy Blizzard, but their joke on the ending was priceless), they will be presented as examples on many occassions and their director (Hudson) and writer (Walters) will have a hard time being treated seriously by any fan.

The reviews in the "press" aren't that important any more.
Metacritic's user review score may be on occasions harsh and stupid, but I've never seen a truly good game raped by the users.

Spend time building a Ferrari for over 5 years. Instead of putting in a 5th gear, include a second reverse just to blow up the engine and gearbox. That's what ME3's ending looks to me.

I'll go with Lexus on the next buy....

Thought you were over it? lol. Please, Mass Effect 3 has sold plenty, if you think because Best Buy lowered the price it means something about Bioware, EA, or you hating the ending is just dumb. If Bioware was hurting for sales the MSRP would be at 39 not just one store. if anything Best Buy is the company in trouble. Some of their stores are closing down lol

I feel better than I did after I first witnessed the debacle of an ending. A lot of that is because enough time has passed and the emotions aren't as high. Still can't play the series though cause the ending made all that you do pointless. This won't change more than likely and that kind of sucks, but could be worse.

I just have fun with the multi-player instead of mutliple single player playthroughs. never thought i'd say that.

And I am kinda there right now as well, things I can enjoy about the multiplayer for the time being while I wait to see if Bioware tries to redeem themselves.

But over it? No, not really. I have also learned that I am probably not going to be pre-ordering much anymore or springing for collector's editions.

The "question" that still needs to be answered in ME3 for everyone who cares about the story is what the hell just happened? really? with no theories no speculation, no space magic, they can use sci-fi to make sense, facts information tell us the story, show us how the end that makes sense. Show us the end, because people didn't get the joke you told in the last 10 minutes Bioware.

I wish I could get over it, but unanswered questions have to be answered.

I'm over it but I'm still addicted to the news stories that pop up about it. Rather than commit to a second playthrough, I've returned to Skyrim, with Witcher 2 to follow. Perhaps I'll be done with those by the time the EC comes out.

I've certainly learned not to trust reviewers alone in my game-buying decisions; as a profession, they seem to have demonstrated a disconnect with their reader/viewership. It's best to let regular gamers play for a few weeks and confirm their judgments match the reviewers' before dropping the money and time into a new game.

Think I got over it maybe 2 weeks ago. Started playing Skyrim again and back into Dragon Age Origins for my 4th, 5th and 6th playthroughs (I have 3 new characters running and load up whichever one suits my fancy at the time). I still wish ME3 gave me the same drive but... oh well, it is what it is.

I'm beginning to get pretty psyched about "Dragon Dogma" by Capcom coming out next month. Sounds like a grand mesh of many games I've enjoyed in the past. Aside from that, I'll be checking out Diablo 3 and looking forward to the "Resident Evil 6" release later this year. My wife loves the RE series. We still play RE5 together when the mood strikes.

So yeah, I'm over it. I'm NOT forgetting, but I am over it.

When there is a will, there is a way. The endings will change. It is a matter of time. Sometimes in the future either Bioware or the fans will create an alternate ending and we can count that as canon.

Thats what I'm hoping for. It's a shame the way the trilogy ended. It's simply broken in that the series is built on choice and variables and multiple outcomes but the ending falls to one unchanging/unalterable point.

If I wanted linear story I'd play Final Fantasy XIII (which I do). That game I expect to be a linear beginning to end, so it's not disappointing in it's delivery.

Final Fantasy games tell a story; the Mass Effect games asked me to help tell a story until the end.

Mass Effect series is like the Matrix trilogy for me; overall it was enjoyable, but the endings were lackluster and bland to the point where experiencing it once is enough.
