The problems with this forum sre absoloutly ridiculas. Links dont work, profile menu attrocious, very slow updates, editing problems on quick replies. What is going on? I wanted to complain to the admin here and waht do I get a EA customer survey asking me to tell them how good they are, well excuse me if i select other and type rubbish.

Come on Bioware do you want your good name associated with this forum hastily erected by overpaid nerdo's who just mash any crap together and say yeah its cool coz it does this. Well you wrong boys, you tripped up over your own " lets make it look complicated so it looks cool " rules.
Over the last few days I dont know what you have been doing coz if its improvments then, then for whos benefit. I no longer have access to my project files unless I Manage them. My menu in my profile wont let me select from sub menus, linked tabs DO NOT WORK!
My hands are tied at the moment as this is the best place for DA:O disscussion and projects, and this you know.
Come on boys, Primary school websites are better than this and if you get beat by a 6 year old then you turned into what you said you wouldnt, way back when you were revising for your I.T exam. Yeah its happned Coffe guzzling donut eating, lazy fat snack boy with fat fingers, must be coz your commands are CRAP!

If I offended anyone then LOL maybe they will sort it out (NOT) Posted Image

Actually it sounds like a cookie problem, you might want to delete the ones for this site to fix it.

When cookies remember out dated info, all sorts of weird things happen and IE as well as Firefox both fall foul of this from time to time.

I have Invision board on my site (the one that costs money). It is a very good forum and when its cookies go wrong, it is horrible to navigate and looks terrible.

I can't use any of the submenu's anymore because they disappear before I can click on them. This means I can't get to my profile anymore nor to my game account, so can't see my persona or screenshots anymore. *sigh*

This started happening around 2 days ago....before that I had no trouble. I use IE8.

Ok folks, this is not a Bioware issue, it is a global Micro$oft IE blunder, for the mean time use an alternative like FireFox, this works fine here and on other sites having similar issues, Facebook is another, authentication and menus fail there as well. I have a feeling this has something to do with Java and an update, Micro$oft and Java are not good friends.

  • Java runs excellently on Windows.
  • Java has nothing at all to do with JavaScript, despite the name.
  • I have not updated IE in over two weeks.

In a word.... No!

I use IE 7 which has worked fine and dandy until yesterday.  The same problem occured the during the last "website update".  The problem is most defintely NOT with IE, but with the website coding.  Apparently the coders are unaware of certain javascript "oddities" or differences or incompatibilities between IE javascript and other web viewers.  I do have Firefox installed, but truly, I don't like it.  I use it mostly to troubleshoot websites that misbehave with IE (which doesn't happen often).
