i'm forty two and have custody of my two sons 6 and 4 so i simply don't have time to play through 10 times to see all the different endings. 
having said that  given the choice- i sent morrigan packing( to much of a risk that morrigan through me or someone else might bring some arch demon back into the world.)
anyway at the landsmeet i chose logains daughter to rule because i just couldn't handle allistairs childish behavior and selfishness but i also had him at my side the entire game so i went back in my saves and played as far as chopping off logains head which was very satisfying considering the evil man he is (slave trade and all that)
but then i ran out of time and continued  with my choice being logains daughter for queen.
THE QUESTION--- what happens if you kill logain and insist allistair becomes king?? does that happen or does he become a washed out homeless drunk anyway??

He becomes a popular king that travels alot, and rely heavily on advisors for everyday running of the kingdom. That is if he survives the last battle.



There is however an option to change Alistair's personality to become a better king, though im not sure what that entails.

You harden Alistair during his personal quest by telling that everyone is out for themselves. Makes the man grow some semblance of backbone.
