And your not a real fan if your willing to let a companys reputation get ruined, and a great series go under because of 5 minutes. Its not a matter of "is it right or not?" anymore, its simple reality that alot of people will not accept the ending. You dont want to accept that then thats your choice but it wont change the fact bioware will hurt from this. If you think banning all who disagree with them then your just contibuting to hurting the company more regardless of your intentions.

They are giving you free DLC in the summer to address the issues!

Oh im willing to give it a chance. But It could easily just hurt bioware more then it already has, and what would be the point of the DLC then? The argument i see most though against the DLC is the it keeps in the core of almost all the issues, the catalyst. So you could argue they are ignoring the biggest issues fans have.

But that said its not entirely fair to pass judgement until the DLC, but my trust in bioware has been hurt regardless.

Your wishes are minor and attacking a thread you don't need to attack. If it gets locked it's locked no one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to troll the forum.

You're not a bioware moderator so there is no need to forcibly voice your opinion upon others. He's not making anyone join and propaganda is not illegal it's what many governments and nations rely on and are based off. A fan stating his beliefs on a company that's suppose to listen is not a bad thing it's merely strategy if you don't like his opinion don't bother coming into the thread and feeding the fires.

As for evo. Advertisement is defined as
A notice or announcement in a public medium promoting a product, service, or event or publicizing a job vacancy.

It is neither a product, service, or event he is merely stating an ideal he would like others to consider. That doesn't fit your description and doesn't deserve your trolling. It's a forum people rant. It happens all the time. All you're doing is villainizing yourself and making the motion look better in comparison especially because he's trying to keep peace in his own thread.

Theyve tried 2 times to stop these threads, when will you get the hint???  maybe its time you guys went elsewhere.

As far as I am aware, they asked to us not make our movement into an official boycott. We have done so. By creating this thread, we are going along with the Mods wishes, not opposing them.

personally I find it extremely difficult I'm a smart*** by nature and thus it is in my nature to attack the weakest links. You're raging worse than a CoD kid on xbox live right now thus commenting to your words is very difficult to resist. One of us will eventually leave either i'll get bored or you'll get frustrated or we'll both get locked out = )

If you stop responding to them, then about 99% of this hate gets removed and the thread has a much, much lower chance of being locked.

I think I understand why they keep locking this. These threads seem to devolve into insulting each other at a much quicker pace than others.

Everything wrong with humanity? lol i actually kind of agreed with you until that part. But again i will give the DLC a chance but its not looking promising from what we do know. If you think people boycotting companys that they see as wronging them is the worse thing that could happen in humanity then i envy you.

They've actually lost one BioWare sale, two if you count DA3, and three more games by EA owned studios post ME3. This is hurting them, and not just BioWare, and I can't see the "artistic integrity" holding much water in the face of possibly going the way of Origin.

Maybe EA will come out with some form of malware down the road named BioWare?

As I said in a previous (now locked) thread, I do hope that they fix this, but between the official statements and the ad campaign trying to spin outrage to their benefit I'm not holding out much hope for it to be so.

I respond to you only to make myself clear: I know you are not a troll Hench, however, you are berrating people for their opinions and are attempting to get a thread locked by turning it into a hate-fest.  What's more, is that the OP has reformed his original statement in accordance to the mods standards.  

Once you start doing things like that, you can't expect anyone to take you as anything but a troll.

BioWare is  allowed to shut down a thread that conflicts with their interests.  this thread is a direct conflict of their interests.  allowing it to remain up indirectly supports and encourages a boycott.

I've never seen anyone encourage others to avoid BioWare, only stating their reasons for doing so. Everyone has even been nice to the trolls that come on to tell us what they just bought.

That said, I believe the movement needs its own forums for the inevitable lockdowns here. While nothing is being done wrong, these threads are not in the company's best interest and will continue to be locked. I have found phpBB and Simple Machines are good free options to place in your own website that would allow the discussion to continue uninterrupted.

You know it really would make sense for bioware to make a n "off topic" thread so that they could contain all of this outrage there.

now i understand the idea behind hold the wallet and i fully hope to participate in it.

My only wish is that they could see all of these issues that they are causing with so many of their fans and admit they made a mistake and will fix it/ do better next time

personally as it stands i would love to see an end to all this negitivity, it is leading me to a sense of apaithy that i do not care for. i love/d bioware games and baulders gate was one of may favorate games of all time. i just hope that they can win back my support by publishing something worth the time and effort and wonderful writing talent that has been shown by bioware in the past.
