The whole commando joke flew over my head.

Anyways a serious answer for a change. Bioware play favorites with Liara, simple as that. There was a thread last week that explains "Writer's Pets" and Liara being one of them. If Bioware ever canonized Mass Effect, including who the canon LI was, you can be damn skippy it'd be her. But I do happen to like Liara, but I did find the amount of attention she received in ME3 as oppose to the rest to be quite annoying.

My Male-Shep say yes.

Also, Liara has filled out like her Mom.  Must be getting ready for the Matron stage already.  Image IPB

If breaking my contract made it so Asari "commandos" came to "punish" me for breaking said contract.  Let's just say I'd be giving out internets left and right *wink wink hint hint nudge nudge*

Yeah, that tends to upset the ESRB if they happened to have a camera glitch. That's why there are no nipples.

And from the flycam shots, it's pretty obvious they were there originally. Like really obvious.

You forget that I AM A BIOTIC GOD.

Even if they did kill me that quick, it'd be totally worth it.

One could argue that Tali and Garrus are the real writer's pets. Squadmates in every game.

Most writer's pet accusations with Liara have little to do with squadmate status. They involve her lack of death, frequent plot relevance, forced friendship, and inability to be ignored.

Oh, and let's not forget that end-game flashback now.

...she has her own DLC.

She's the Shadow Broker, the expert on Protheans, the biotic master. Shepard's best friend for no reason. She is NAKED! Naked for god's sake, that's enough to make her the favourite. Her romance scene last 10x times more than anyone else. Don't forget the plot armor. Ah yes, and the "My homeworld is in ruins, look at the banshees, the Reapers make me feel bad, I'm gonna cry, feel bad with me Shepard"... oh yeah because Palaven and Earth are ok, and it's not like there is a human husk on every corner...
