Traynor is in the show in her underwear.  Every possible sex scene with a human female has that female in bra and panties.  The only one that does not is Liara.  That's sort of the issue.  Why just her?

More importantly, does it even matter? It isn't immersion-breaking. I agree Liara got preferential treatment in Mass Effect 3, mainly because she couldn't die, but on the list of things that "Liara got that the other LI's should have also got", ashley not wearing any underwear in her scene surprisingly, is low on the list.

I think Adult is full frontal nudity. M is partial nudity.
Ashley were almost 100% same as Liara in ME1 (without undies), and ME1 still had "M".

NO.  There are a lot of other games with brief nudity that are also rated M.  Heavy Rain had nudity.  Duke Nuke'm had nudity.  GTA4"Ballad of Gay Tony had full frontal male nudity, and was still rated M.

AO is reserved for graphic sex and extremely graphic and gorey violence only.  If you "controled" the sex scene, that would get you AO.  Show a breast for 5 seconds wouldn't.

You ever seen the Witcher 2? Pretty much full frontal nudity (somewhat *ahem* obscured lower regions). Google it.

Why is nudity forbidden anyway? Dont you people look at yourselves before/after showers?

Mass Effect 3 is a 15,  why would a game developer unnessarily bump the age up to 18 for the sake of showing a little flesh? 

I don't agree with it either, but thats how it goes. Honestly though, I don't see what the problem is with the females wearing underwear in their respective scenes, considering they weren't having sex at that point.

And it's easier to do nudity without showing any naughty bits when only one of the pair is nude.

Considering how violent games are now a days how much further would you need to go to get an AO rating?  Like a mini game to cut off limbs one by one or something?
