Alright so I am playing as a sentinel and I'm towards the end of the game and I unlocked the Achevement for assualy rifles, now it says that the assualy rifle talent can be added to any new character I make. ALright so my current characeter does not get the talent for asualt rifles? Will I be able to add the talent to him after I finish the game and start a new one with the same character? Or do I have to start an entireley new character? Can somone please expain this to me, I don't feel like passing the game again starting at level 1 with a new character.

You have to start as an entirely new character. In Mass Effect 1, you only unlock bonus talents for future characters; you cannot add a a bonus talent to a character you are currently playing.

In Mass Effect 2 and 3, you can add bonus talents to your current character's skillset after unlocking it (limit one bonus talent per character without modding),

Well if you are on the pc you could always use the dev console. GiveBonusTalent 7

Taken from here: http://masseffect.wi.../wiki/PC_Cheats

If you do decide to use the command don't go wild limit yourself to one or two talents at the most.

Heh yeah that wasn't all that nice. I wonder if it was an oversight where they just allowed bonus at new character creation?

How did you unlock Assault Riffles while playing Sentinel though? Were you just using AR's and killing things before you had the talent available? I played Soldier first so I unlocked all weapon skills in that run, so maybe I am off track here.

You don't need the skills to unlock the weapons, just 150 kills.  Heck you can unlock them all before you leave Eden Prime, if you keep reloading.  Just save at the beginning play to the beacon, and reload the first save, rinse, repeat.

Hmm interesting.  I guess that makes sense.  I only used an AR once without the training, it was marginally decent with accuracy mods.

thx guys I added the talent via console and it seems legit and solid, by the way I meant Infiltrator in my initial post, and damn the Geth pulse rifle kicks ass.
