I'm beginning to wonder, do you guys end up playing as Human Female characters in MP?

I can understand making a female Shep in SP, Hale does beat Meer by a considerable margin (Particularly in the first game!) But in MP?
Granted I am a bit conservative on the subject, playing as an Asari would make me feel like a cross-dresser of sorts.  It never crossed my mind to play as a human female.

I can understand guys playing as an Asari or Quarian, they do have cool power sets... but it but wierds me out when someone's character shows up as "human female" and the voice talking is male.

Restatement,
Do guys play as human females (and vice versa), if so why and generally with what frequency?

The only time i play female human is if i think my male human powers need to be reset and don't want to waste a respec card.

I've never created a human male. Only human females. Not sure why. Just my preference.

Before I unlocked other races, I played Female Humans simply because, for some weird reason, those were the only character cards I got. So I liked having more customization with the colors.

My Female Human Infiltrator is specc'd for Cryo and shotgun abuse, my Male is specc'd for sniper. Way easier than promoting.

In the early days, I've played a male soldier and female vanguard, but then I took a headbutt to the face and now I only play krogan.

I play human males and human females with about equal frequency, for variety.

Shrug. If I'm going to look at the back end of a human for hours on end, it may as well be a female behind. And Hale's VA still have lines in MP.

Does it really matter? I'm not going into the multiplayer on this game to meet women or men specifically. The male and female humans don't look much different anyways. Males just look stupid and very top-heavy.

Three reasons why I do:

-I like the female model better.
-I messed up my human male specs (doesn't happen anymore since week 1).
-Since I only have bought spectre/premium spectre packs, some Human females have more custom appearance options.

Not that either matters anymore since I haven't played a Human anything in MP for about two weeks now.

The gender of the character can be independent of the gender of the player.

If I'm starting a new class (or just promoted and reset it) it's totally random whether the first human I use on that row is female or male.

I'm male and my only human character I play is female (my novaguard). I guess it's a carry over from the demo. Just a preference. Oh, 1 of my soldiers is male, but the BF3 soldier only comes in the male flavor.

I might suggest everyone use the female if given a choice for no other reason that they are a bit smaller and won't obstruct other players as much if you stand in front of them.

since both male and female have the same abilities...i usually build one for tanking and another for biotic/tech attacks...so yeah depending the mood i play as a female...

Also since the female is smaller than the male, i notice i can dodge Brutes easier. Rolling with the female is better than rolling with the male

I play both in single player, I play both in multiplayer don't really see why it matters. (Male IRL)

Human is human. I have different builds for each one.
