This. I use both M and F to concentrate on different builds.LostinJersey wrote...
I play as both. I like having the option of different builds on the same kit for different situations. It's also useful if I realized I could improve upon my initial build but I don't have a reset card.

mainly cause i like to stare at a womans behind the whole match rather than a male's behind.
in every game when i'm alowed to have a female character i will play 1 because of that reason, i don't roleplay to be female so no, i don't feel like i'm crossdressing (or whatever you wanna call it) i'm just being a guy.
tbh, i don't rly get why people don't get that.
Similarly my gay friends prefer a male character.
yep, goes the same for alot off female players i know. they play male chars for the same reason.

2. The male characters sound horrible. ''ROGGIT TROOPA!!'' (can't understand half of what he's saying)
3. Females look better in armor due to their more varied form.(That's just my opinion)
4. Better to stare at a woman's backside than a man's backside. (altough the female body model still looks crap in this game)

I played as male with every class, now I'm playing as female for a change. I'm not the character, it don't represent me, so why bother? Let it be female..

i do not like fem soldier, cos shes bigger too and i bet its another reason for males playing females

I'm beginning to wonder, do you guys end up playing as Human Female characters in MP?
I can understand making a female Shep in SP, Hale does beat Meer by a considerable margin (Particularly in the first game!) but really, in MP?
Granted I am a bit conservative on the subject, playing as an Asari would make me feel like a cross-dresser of sorts, but really? Playing a HUMAN femaie?
I can understand guys playing as an Asari or Quarian, they do have cool power sets... but it really wierds me out when someone's character shows up as "human female" and the voice talking is male.
Well, this is starting to look like a whiny post instead of an inquisitive one...
Restatement,
Do guys play as human females (and vice versa), if so why and generally with what frequency?
This is the internet new**** , ever heard of it ?

I play only as female human or asari. Why? Cuz they obstruct the view much less than the male ones. They feel more nimble and have smaller hitboxes so you may get hit less
I play mostly asari classes mainly for stasis bubble. It's OP and I can spam it to death. The only male character I play is the krogan battlemaster that I just recently unlocked.
I didn't think a vanguard could get any more OP...but that thing is ridiculous. When you can charge and headbutt an atlas to death, you know you have something special.

And the female model is smaller, so I can see more. Part of the reason I hate playing Krogan... over-the-shoulder 3rd person shooter.

I also had a male human engineer because lean smart dudes are hot. I put him in blue-green. But that was in the beginning when I was still experimenting; now I almost strictly use aliens because I find them more interesting to play.

Just like so many people here say "race" rather than "species" when referring to aliens.

Some of us aren't bothered about playing as a female character, we don't have deep seated issues about it that makes us feel like cross dressers that you seem to.

When I play a human, I usually choose a female, though I did get a kick out of making a male human soldier with a different build and putting him in the girly hot pink I never use on my females. I enjoy doing silly things sometimes.
Hot pink Krogan. Turn on Fortification. Glowing hot pink Krogan.
Any other "neon" color works too. So funny.

We know this because of how he's played other games, from fighting games to mmorpgs. Now we know the reason of "well if I have to look at something I'd rather be looking at a woman than a man all day." As well as the "the character is made better." But in reality we know its neither of these reasons. We can't put our finger on it, but we just know there's something "off" about his reasons every time we tease him about it.
In addition to this, back when Smallville was

But I have to say not playing as a character of the opposite gender JUST because it the opposite gender is just stupid. It shouldn't matter.
