Except in two endings the Reapers were not removed. There is no guarantee they won't come back. They could overcome Sheps control or as an AI he/she could lose themselves in it and become as insane as the starchild. In synthesis they can keep harvesting if they decide they need to procreate.

Yeah, I guess there's that. Shame Tali is on the far side of the galaxy and will likely die of old age before she can even start building her house.

To be fair, I can imagine it being pretty hard to build a house out of invisible rock....unless you're the crazy type.

Yes. The Reaper threat has been removed and no matter how many die in the aftermath, as long as the human race lives on, than we have won.

Because losing would have meant the end of the human race. A depleted human race>extinct human race.

Ok, I disagree.

-In Control, the Reapers leave under Shepard's command but it does not solve the the issue at hand: Synthetics will continue to be made, and if StarIdiot is to be believed, will wipe out all organics including humans. If it comes down to it, Shepard will probably have the Reapers come back into play to prevent complete genocide of organic. So here, the Reapers are still in play and the human race could will likely go extinct.

-In Destroy, if the EMS is low enough, all of Earth is engulfed in flames killing the billion of humans left on the planet. This essentialy wipes out the human race. If the EMS is high enough, sure the Reapers are all gone sure. However, you do nothing to solve the problem that the synthetics will be created, will rebel, and will kill us all. With no Reapers left to "save organics", the human race is toast.

-In Synthesis, the Reapers still are around STILL UNDER STARCHILD CONTROL AND NOT SHEPARDS. What is stopping the new synthetic/organic hybrid galaxy to create just pure synthetics again? If they do, the will rebel and will most likely will out all synthetic/orgainc hybrids, including the humans. The Reapers are still around, and the humans will likely go extinct.

If we lose who we are or what we are fighting for, then we have truly lost. And at the end of ME3,One can feel this way.

We aren't sure if Shepard can continue to control the Reapers anyway. He/she likely can't. Shep may have only been able to issue the retreat command, and then was completely destroyed. The Reapers MAY come back in 50, 000 years. Hell, Starkid SMILES in that decision. :?

The question the OP asked is "Do you feel like you took back Earth?". In MY playthrough, the only one valid for MY answer, I feel like I did.

Besides, all your counter points are based off the assumption that the StarChild is correct about the inevitability of the cycle. If you don't accept the Catalyst's premise, your counter points are moot.

Yeah, I dont even understand the whole control garbage. Regardless if the Reapers are around or not, because of this stupid Synthetics win against Orgaincs crap, everyone is screwed.

Not really. It would have been cool to have a badass fight like the ones in the trailers, though. THEN I would have felt like I at least *tried*
