I was messing around with an extended mag Striker on a Turian Soldier, the weapon did feel a bit stiff after it has ramped up significantly, but I could not tell if it was actually bugging out.
- The sound squawks then cuts out,
- I can no longer control my character,
- Simultaneously, the GUI freezes (cool down circle and hotkeys freeze, for example),
- Screen goes black, I thought my character was forced under the map, but as I hit ESC and go through the menu, the black is replaced by the smokey backdrops, which also, eventually, fades to black
- During this time, graphically, the GUI is frozen but stays on TOP of the black screen, the Kill List populates as my teammates go about their business) even as I hit escape, navigate the menus (which do pop up), and change resolutions (to no avail),
- During this time, audibly, the only sounds I can hear are from Origin (friends logging in/off), non ME3 sources, and the wails of my teammates (using ME3 built in speech) as they notice and wonder why I've stopped moving.
- I notice that the menu buttons start lagging and become less responsive...memory issue perhaps? It gets to a certain speed of slow and stays there.
- The screen comes back when everyone in the multiplayer match leaves, and I can now control my character again, but no sound.
- I let myself die, and the sound "returns" with the Mission Failed screen
- I see the staging ground with the notification that I have been kicked from the game...and I notice sound is gone again. Apparently ME3 can only play (failure) fanfare or sound inbetween navigable screens.
- Every time I alt-tab the audio makes a sound as if just tore out/plugged in my headphones, I shall call this sound "fwip"
- I change between full screen and window modes to see if it has any bearing on the "fwip" sound, it does not
- The sound makes that "fwip" sound every new screen I navigate to, I can hear the BGM during loading, but the moment I get to a screen (now in single player or loading into MP) ME3 makes the "fwip" and cuts out all remaining audio.
Upon restarting the game the audio is normal again, but I haven't played more MP to see if it cuts out again.
