Star child turns into Willy Wonka and you have a chance to win the golden ticket by playing through multiplayer to go on a tour of how Bioware rushes their games out the door while the people from EA sit there on a throne made of donkey kong cartridges screaming MOAR WORK MOAR PROFIT and the Bioware employees wonder if 'masta gon sell me today'.

"Steve-O: You know it's when like your parents said "I'm not mad at you, just disappointed" You know that hurt so much more."

Not mad at BioWare. Disappointed, but not mad.

I posted some like things they could do with the extended ending that would set me more at peace. But like so much these days, what we get in the end is always shallow. Hope I'm wrong. We have not seen it yet.

I was never realy mad, very dissapointed yes, but not mad.

It's been said before but right now I find it interresting to see how Bioware is handling this situation.
They seem to make blunder after blunder without realy listening to their fans.
At first (they still do actualy) talking about "some" fans not being satisfied, then PAX, where they don't even dear to bring up the situation, and now they're using the controversy in add as it being something possitive.....
On top of this they plan a dlc to clarify the whole thing, if it needs clarifying than it's incomplete or unlogical at best.

I wonder how this all ends.....

I'm mad, but I'm going to give the Extended Edition a fair chance.

I'M MAD AS HELL AND NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Or maybe i will. I hope for the best and getting mentally ready for the worst. Luckily, other good games are about. Diablo 3 might get that ending out of my mind.

Na, I almost forgot the bad ending because I've been playing multiplayer non-stop. However, I'm still disappointed though.

First world problems. :)
No, not even that.
I certainly think some people will be surprised when they face the problems of Life.

I'm kind of over the whole ending thing to be honest. It's kind of annoying now. I'm still looking forward to it but I'm not going to be building myself up...I've learned my lesson.

-Im allways amazed at this hypocritical fallacy.

But then I suppose that the people who write this inane crap are posting from DRC where they are sitting at their shared laptop, from the MSF camp where they are helping kids with amputated limps by way of machete from other kids. Or perhaps they are helping out the Hmong? Or they are perhaps doing good elsewhere in the third world?  They speak from great experience in life from a platform of knowing how crap the third world is, yes? They dont buy 250$ dinners for their families, donate 30$ to charity and then rub their nipples in pharisaic joy over their own goodness? They dont preach "first world problems" when they have to have the lastes Iphone or other gadget, etc... right?

I'm disappointed they rushed the game and released an unfinished product
I'm disappointed by the amount of bugs in the game
I'm disappointed by the endings (very samey and no closure).
I'm disappointed by the amount of fetch quests that involve scanning planets.
I'm disappointed by the game's length

Comparison example - N7 side missions:
ME3 - 6 (all quite samey and short)
ME2 - 20+ (all quite different and of varying lengths).

The developers could have done SOOOO much more

Mass Effect 2 is the superior product - Period

IMO

Yeah, the end product feels so rushed. The fact that textures are bad and that the lip syncing is bad and that a lot of small technical issues are bad when they were not at all an issue in ME2 really shows that.

*well on the PS3

I never hype myself that much for a game so I can be rarely disappointed. I may had issue with a few thing in ME3 but I wasn't mad at BioWare for it.

Also people that are butt hurt right now are delicious to read. "Hey! BioWare/Mass Effect is dead to me now look at me I need attention!!".

I'm granting you 5 sec of attention for your effort.

Now begone. If you truly don't care about EA/BioWare/Mass Effect or anything related to them just leave. I know I would if that was the case.

-Not leaving. Im here for my pound of flesh. The game didnt deliver so Ill get it by way of Forum drama, and then by going over DLC and DA3 with a toothpick when it gets here. Just for the lulz.

Besides... your post boils down to "im butthurt that you are butthurt", so who is the worse really.

Not trying to be nit-picky but it's never been Bioware as a whole. Disappointment won't change, my opinion of the end is still the same. There are only a few of the Mass Effect team responsible for that.

I still love Bioware. ME3 was mostly an awesome game. Not mad, just hopeful. If the extended cut doesn't deliver, well, there's nothing that can be done at that point. I'm sure the forums will light up once again with anger. I just seriously think once that extended DLC is out, that's it. Anything afterwards is just purchasable DLC.

If they're smart, moneywise, they'll surprise us with an alternate ending and closure. This will win them support and praise from fans. With that, they'll have people buying the DLC they release in the future.

Or are you all satisfied with the Extended Cut DLC?  What's the general consensus?

I haven't seen it yet. But I don't need that ending clairified (they all died) i need it to fit with the rest of the series.
