I only completed ME3 yesterday but never felt a need to be mad, sure I'd like some closure as to who survives as I've no idea on the fate of the two I used in my final squad selection and >Anderson< and that of the two choices I considered out of the three had bad effects in one way or another which was a bit depressing, but I thought the ending was okay and the entire game more than made up for any negative qualities of the ending.
But I'll be getting the extended cut DLC anyway with the hopes it fixes at least one of those.

-I believe that Switch is one of the people who use colouring for his normal postings. Personally I find it annyoing, but I dont think he did it to "attenton grab".

But do look over his profile. He has done it before.

Smells of pay attention to me. He may not intend for it. But it still happens.

I too find it annoying and unnecessary.

yeah still sucks, and no extended cut will make that ending any better as

is been said on BSN before

"you can't polish a turd"

-Well. At least he got you to "speculate". Thats high premium for Bioware it seems.

Or are you all satisfied with the Extended Cut DLC?  What's the general consensus?

No, not mad. Just disapointed and sad.

As a 20-something guy I grew up with Bioware games like Baldurs Gate, Kotor and Jade Empire.
For me, it's like seeing a part of your childhood die(especially since DA:2). But I hope they're happy with what they're doing. Alienating an entire fanbase that has been loyal since the 90's is quite an achievement. EA is probably proud.

Actualy you can infact polish a turd.

Also we shall see. Personally I'll keep from saying facts of "it will be bad" or "it will be good"

Maybe Bioware is planning to quit/knows they're getting closed? That's why they decided to go out with a bang that keeps everyone speculating for the next 100 years.

We will sing songs about them for generations and all that.

Just distrust and apathy. DA:O and ME1 were the last Bioware games I enjoyed by themselves. There are companies that are better at the direction Bioware is heading and there are companies who offer products similar to Bioware's older products.

Can't clean one though, no matter what you do it is still a turd.

I was mad because BioWare disrespected me for expecting me to let their lies go unnoticed and then accused me of disrespecting their artistic integrity. That won't go away unless they apologize or the extended cut blows every single fish in the world out of the water.

I am expecting for the worst.

Bioware planning to quit? Don't think so (Dragon Age 3 is on the horizon). But were it true that they are deciding to quit - wouldn't they rather go out on a high?

Mass Effect 3 does not deserve the 'swan song' accolade. It doesn't even come close.

As I've stated before elsewhere. Mass Effect 3 is a shoddy product.

Story and gameplay (up until the last 10 minutes) was brilliant.
But everything else about the product as a whole sucks.

- Datapad/Infiltrator App only for iOS (not everyone has an iphone/ipad)
- Too much emphasis on MP (Required to get over 4000 EMS - despite developers saying otherwise)
- PS3 gamers only get the middle and the end of the game (long standing issue which no doubt will continue)
- Bioware HATES the PS3 community as the lack of incentives shows (no PS3 Themes/Avatars/ unlocks in-game/or on PSN store unlike Xbox360 who have tons of stuff).
- Excluding PS3 Community for MP events (should have been sorted before the game was released)
- Ignoring requests from the PS3 community to put an Install option in the game to minimise drive access
- Persistant crashes and bugs in SP/MP that have so far not been addressed (should have been done prior to the game's release)
- Their plain ignorance towards their fanbase (their silence speaks volumes)

Bioware deserve all they flak they are getting.
It's outrageous.

EA voted worst company in America:
Think about that, in the last few years, we had to deal with Microsoft becoming a monopoly, Apple's endless "I-products", even the oil spill in the gulf thanks to BP, but EA is the worst in America in 2012? why not any of the lending institutions who are ruining this countries financial backbone? Why not the oil companies demanding we pay 4 bucks a gallon? or Apple with the never ending I-products? or even Microsoft who everyone seems to love one minutes and despise the next?

Because they give their consumers, their customers what they want, can EA say the same in this instance? I really hope someone over at BioWare grows a pair and stands up against the evil overlords at EA and fights for independence over their games. ( spoiler alert for a new game! )

nope, not mad. heading towards apathy. rolling down the road to apathy means I am close to just not giving a crap about what they do in the future. they screwed up DA2, they screwed up the ending to ME3. If they screw up the EC DLC this summer, to hell with them. That means they will probably screw up DA3.

Yea, I hate that EA forces us to have that damned origin crap running even if we don't play multiplayer. yea, yea, yea, you can run it in offline mode but it still feels like they are fondling your junk when you play.

That little tidbit keeps popping up in other articles too. It's the gift that keeps giving. For example, I was reading an article yesterday about how EA's stock price dropped 6% in one day and at the end of the article it mentioned EA was voted the worst company.

I wouldn't continue bringing stock prices into the argument.  Only long term trends matter.  Look at Apple's stock after Steve Jobs' death.  It dropped significantly and then went back up.   However, EA's stock has taken a nosedive since its highs of a couple years ago.   Day to day results don't really mean that much.

My point was EA's Worst Company award keeps showing up in other articles.

I agree that you can't read too much into short-term stock trends. However, EA just made new lows for the year yesterday. It's down about 25% for the year while the S&P stock index is up about 10% for the year. That's not good - especially since EA is down over 75% from its all-time high.

It just looks like EA was made self destruct and also severely damage the gaming world before it did and at the same time make some money, in every single way that they could think of.

More frustrated than anything.  I highly doubt the DLC is going to change how I feel about the endings, but I can't exactly criticize it before it comes out.  Maybe that's the point of the DLC...to get the fans to cool their heads for a few months and give Bioware a break.  I still see another outburst coming post-DLC.
