If you are still mad over the ending of a fictional universe created as an entertainment product I would suggest you may have a definate perspective problem. If your life is so shallow and meaningless that you require digital entertainment products to feel good about yourself and that when they let you down (and they will) you hold the creators of these products responsible for your misery, you are in deep trouble.

Bioware didn't fail you. You failed yourself. Get over it.

Philosphy, brought to you by a random BSN poster.
Seems trustworthy.

Seriously, I'd love to just go to Somalia or something and give a kid a copy of this game, just to put it in fricking *perspective*.

As aposed to poisoning them willingly?
You inhale just as much if not more walking down a city street, and if you live in NY, or Chicago, you might as well light up and enjoy!
But we are getting off topic here, yes there are plenty of other companies that simply need to be destroyed, the corrupt, the ubber greedy, the incompetent, and yes EA now falls into that category. If you don't agree,...tough sh*t my friend, enough people out there thought EA was bad enough to win that special award. Since you don't agree, "Welcome to the internet, a place where you can **** **** **** to your hearts content, you don't have to be right, cuz apparently you're never wrong!"

That's fine, 'bub'. I wasn't the one going off on a ragetangent because somebody said something I didn't like.

And enough people can think what they want. Enough people believe in an invisible sky wizard after all :)

No no no, its flying spagetti monster, and don't forget the people who thought up the "godchild" and his space magic!
Ragetangent? not really, I was actually listening to Denis Leary's "no cure for cancer" when I read your comment about tobacco companies.
The only thing I rage about these days is ME3's ending... I feel like the American people after Obama was elected, saying "When's that 'change' coming?"

If I had an option not to, I would. But you're misconstruing my point based on the word 'Foxconn' and going off on a tangent.

The point I am making is that you can't even compare what EA does to what one of those companies do, and to do so is quite frankly an insult to the human race.

Except if you support those companies you support the practice. No one is forcing you to buy these electronics unless you work for a company that requires you to.  You do have the option not to, you don't actually want to follow through with it.

You don't think people will committ suicide or lose their homes if EA and other game companies try and shut down the used/rental game market?  Like I said before EA isn't alone but they spearheaded the online pass movement.  Plus correct me if I'm wrong but noone is forcing these people to work there.  They need the money and the Chinese govt doesn't protect them like it should.

Is the announcement that the extended cut will only contain clarification what I expected? No, but neither were my assumptions on ME3's endings based off developer comments such as -

“There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How
could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and
then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets? But I can’t
say any more than that…”
- Mike Gamble

“You'll get answers to everything. That was one of the key things. Regardless
of how we did everything, we had to say, yes, we're going to provide
some answers to these people.”
- Mike Gamble

“Yeah, and I’d say much more so, because we have the ability to
build the endings out in a way that we don’t have to worry about
eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is
coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot
more different. At this point we’re taking into account so many
decisions that you’ve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that
stuff. It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings,
where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got
ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and
variety in them.”
- Casey Hudson

Point being? Bioware have blatantly lied to our faces before, so I'm willing to give the extended cut the benefit of the doubt.

No. I don't think people will commit suicide or lose their homes if EA or other companies try to shut down the used/rental game market.  Odds are if they do it will be due to pre-existing underlying mental conditions (the former) or due to not being able to find a job elsewhere (the latter).

I'm not going to get into the 'if you use this you support it' argument because it's really quite ancilliary to my argument. Suffice it to say that it is virtually impossible nowadays, sad as it is, to live a life that doesn't involve that kind of exploitation. But that doesn't make it OK and that doesn't mean that it's on equal footing with taking over gaming companies and producing a not-warm-fuzzy ending.

I wouldn't say I'm angry. Disappointed, maybe.

I'd rather the Star Child was tossed out the nearest airlock and we got a completely retconned ending, but I'm also waiting to see how this all plays out in the extended DLC before making a judgement. Bioware has hinted that the Red Ending doesn't necessarily kill EDI and the Geth, and if that is the case I might actually be okay with that ending.

I agree with this.

LOL.. get over it. so what you didn't like the ending, Bioware owes you nothing, so much bigger things in the world, starving kids in third world countries blah blah blah..

yeah whateva all the peeps that make these statements I doubt that u even lift a finger for charity..

I find it hilarious that some peeps make this stance trying to shame others for being upset with how ME3 turned out. Is there bigger things in the world most definitely are there bigger issue in peoples lives for sure. But here is the thing, life sucks sometimes so if people out there pay $80 for 20-40 hours of an escape why judge them. Hell yeah people should be pissed and continue to be pissed they spent $80 for a little escape and that turns out to be s**t LOL what the hell!!... you couldn't even say yeah I'm getting my money back cus games don't even work that way so your stuck with it. I say keep on ****ing don't let up, let Bioware know they messed up and keep reminding them of it.
Bioware messed up the legacy now 10-15 yrs from now peep's are going to say " hey you remember that amazing series that company made" "what was it again" "what mass effect" "yeah that's it" "man they messed that up large, that ending was horse s**t"

No, not mad. Disappointed yes, since 99.9% of the trilogy's been great. Better than great really. But no matter how great that 99.9% has been, that .01% gave us a different color/same basic ending whimper when I was expecting a very large bang.

Too bitter, not enough sweet.
