Stay in both covers, SE & TS in the one next to the side door (C1) for the decoy, AA in other (C2) covering the enemies coming down ledders from landing pad and attempting to enter the room. Infiltrator, stay in the middle close to back door, you can revive if someone goes done.

I think, right place for QI is (C2)  > great crowdcontrol + little snipe - max havoc. Hack Pyros next to Primes and team don,t even need  SE.

GE --( C1) - first position ( next to the door ) resto turret in team range , AA right to him, third player (TS) -- no matter- just to do right thing.

EDIT:  If team don,t have SE, can we count all of this "Geth Farming"  or this is normal gold game?

OP, thanks for taking the time to make the guide, I think its rather funny that you've given some very basic and simple pointers for new players, make it clear that its for those players, and get inundated with responses that try to explain the "pro" way to do it, or the "best" when again... you made it clear this is a guide for new players.

Thank you Rhaina, hope it helps, happy farming :D and yes, it appears some awesome lvl 1 gold solo pros can't help themselves, but just ignore those :)

A team that doesn't work, is 1 Salarian engineer + 3 infiltrators. Especially when the infiltrators don't bother cloaking, or apparently even trying to kill anything.

We died on wave 6 after the geth all started piling in the back, and I ended up with the highest score by a fairly large margin. Left that group fairly sharpish.

And what about the people who are bringing up how your guide doesn't make much sense in terms of "easy"? I don't know about making a guide that just shows how loose your grasp of clearing gold easily is.

Acttualy the best place for the sniper is outside but not for the purpose of this guide. For this purpose it's best to stay close so they can quickly revive. The inbetween to covers gives quick protection and good vantage point.

If the decoy dropper's topping the scoreboard, the team is bad.  Just sayin'.

I think the fastest and one of the easiest combinations I have found is:

Salarian Engineer: Decoy/Energy Drain
Geth Engineer: Chain overload (other classes with this work as well)
Salarian Infiltrator: energy drain/objectives and sniper
Quarian infiltrator: sabotage/objectives/sniper

The idea here is that energy drain + overload means that shields are gone very quickly (negating the shield gate for a sniper), most enemies are stunned and the snipers just clean up.

The only two that are mandatory are Salarian Engineer and Infiltrator -- "mandatory" meaning that with this combo you can screw up a lot and still make it.

I prefer Salarian Infiltrator, with a powerful sniper rifle that can drop Primes in 3 shots (quick-killing Primes saves the most time).

As for the other two, damage dealers that people are competent with, Adepts work really well, as do another Overload-user, or another Infiltrator. The fastest I've cleared was in just over 15 min because we had a badass SI with a Valiant 2 demolishing our right flank.

That is good and all, but how are you supposed to do this with randoms? ;)

I don't ever farm with friends because if I have friends on, then I am playing random Gold. I only ever farm with randoms who I assume won't have read the thread.

I like you, assume they wont have read this either, however...

Hopefully, they may come across threads like this one, and hopefully read them so as to reduce the amount of facepalming much of us experience when playing with some of those randoms.

I don't 'enjoy' Noveria, but if I'm playing it, I always camp in the far cover on the right hand side. I do this for several reasons:

1) I can gain more lines of sight from Geths coming down the stairs and from the right hand side;
2) If I do get pinned down, I can grab several at a time;
3) If I get flanked, I quickly move to the other side of the cover and grab them;
4) Overload/Incinerate is hell on Primes and Pyros;
5) Using decoy or drone affords my squad time to recharge shields if they are getting hammered from the side so they can focus on what's in front of them;
6) Access to both hacks, uploads, and two escape routes;
7) Immediate access to ammo without pulling myself out of the battle;
8) Ability to move up if necessary to do a rocket wipe.

A good random - who is there to farm - will watch the group and work with the group. They will know what their class can and cant do and understand it is a team game - not halo where you are some superhuman god

It's funny, because many people see this strategy as a noob thing, when it actually isn't that, but it's a true, well thought STRATEGY, you finish the game, there's no cheat, it's something you planned ahead, and that's how the game should be played, not by randomly running into the enemy to loose in the second round, good job whoever came up with this.

@ a ViciousFerret & Rhaina
As far as I'm concerned, you guys are randoms and you have read this, but something tells me you are not the target group cause you already know all this stuff :)

@adrenaline1983
Reckon you're an INF and a better one at that, that is the right spot for you but you know what you're doing. Staying inside, lesser players can quickly revive and stuff.

@CommissarGaunt
Thank you, hope it helps and happy farmin'
And you are right about the other thing :)

This I agree with. It's a strategy for a particular enemy on a particular map. It gets old if that's all one does, but it's a valid way to play.

Exacto, and if you switch classes and characters it's a whole new play, especially as an INF.
