i have a theory that verbal abuse from teammates occurs more often on xbox than pc or ps3.  i have this idea that there is a culture of xbox fps where being dooshy is acceptable, and that it increases the occurance of dooshiness on xbl when compared with other platforms.

i play pc and i have encountered verbal abuse in this game once.  how about you?

edit:  aparantly some people are offended that i would ask this question.  online intereation is interesting because anonymous, largely short-lived contact has different social rules.  this thread was intended to see whether there is a difference between platforms regarding how those rules occur.  if you are interested to talk about your experiences and read the experiences of others, then proceed.  if not, go away.

i play on Xbox and i don't really hear people speak in game chat, but your right Xbox is probably the most immature online group out of the gaming platforms (that's Xbox live in general, not just ME3)

Don't know, I have pc and I'm still quite capable to fly into nerdrage over human stupidity. Another question that I rarely share this with VOIP as it's quite useless.

Xbox is more common among the younger generation, since folk that have a PC that can manage gaming have usually saved up quite a bit, hence in itself more likely to be older.

Also, I see the point you're trying to make, but I find insulting biker gangs offensive.

I've never been abused on xbox. However, had some pretty rowdy party chats with friends, but that's the sort of banter I expect.

I have a theory that those who play on XBox like cheese while PC and PS3 players prefer milk.

I don't use a mic on XBL, so I don't have to worry about it. Most MP games are quite easy and don't really require deep strategy, ME3 even less so.

The gravest insult I've heard on PC was a "why would you go up there?!" as some dude died on the top of Firebase Condor.

Oh the humanity!

While I'm sure it happens on any platform, it seems that the average person who play 360 is younger than the average person who plays PS3 or PC and age is often an mark of maturity.

yeah, if you mean the thread title, it's just a title, it's not a comment directed at you.  i don't even know you.

actually, i'm not complaining, i'm just curious.  i have an idea about the online community and i want to see if there's any evidence that i'm right.

lol, sorry if i offended you.

More like the Xbox live community is much larger and the console comes with a mic. There are more kids but probably an equal amount of adults to other online services.

I've got a theor-

Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes
They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
Bunnies, BUNNIES IT MUST BE BUNNIES!

---
Also, thinly veiled console war is console war.

Xbox is the best platform. You hear more **** through xbox because more people play it and get more involved in the games which will give you a lot more feedback in any case. Stop complaining... it would be nice if I could join a teambased game and the team actually works as a team and talks!!!!!!!

Waste of my damn time. There should be a mandatory mic server or SOMETHING.

I have only heard two instances on the PC (in two consecutive matches, same people) that even came within shouting distance of abuse, but neither was abuse so much as having what seemed to be a good-natured go at someone else's error (one of them being mine).

The whole "There are 80% more kids on XBL than PSN and PC" thing is a total joke.

I play all the time and I have only seen maybe 3 kids under 18.
Everyone else has been like 20's-40's and usually are polite.

Yeah kids play CoD on xbox, but only so they can play with other kids who play CoD on xbox. They usually don't stray from CoD enough to bother anyone else.
