EA is run by ****** and Christians are sufficiently annoying/socially accepted to get their way.

There, I've explained it.

Fun isn't it?
You can watch Cerberus troopers heads explode in a shower of red gore but no boobies.
Never mind.

Its because people think showing every second of someone physically ripping another man's head off with extreme detail is less likely to have a negative effect than a very little bit of side-boob. Or, at least, that is what the idiots (aka "most of society") seem to believe since you see that level of excessive violence constantly at all hours of the day on TV but it needs to be at 3am in order for a show to have even the slightest bit of nudity. Somehow, extreme gore is more natural than the human body.

Matey, I'm a Christian. I much prefered the first game's love scene over the watered down versions of ME2 and 3. Not saying I'd want XXX rated in the games, but I wouldn't scream and shout if YOU wanted such and received such. Please, either don't make such sweeping statements that are not founded on fact, or be specific with your statements: there are some VOCAL HARD-CORE FAR RIGHT Christian groups that are sufficiently annoying... etc.

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, and don't lump us all in the same boat - or is it also acceptable for me to blame all Germans because a small group of them bombed seven kinds of hell out of my country in WW2? Lay the blame where it belongs, please.

They lacked a navel ring.. Eww.. Would never lay my hand on something that doesn't have a navel ring.

If the scene is well done enough then it doesn't really matter what's shown. Nudity for the sake of it and avoiding it just out of some puritanical nonsense are both pointless. I've only romanced Tali in 3 and didn't expect to see anything anyway (and would've probably found it rather gratuitous if I had, face issues aside). What I saw of Liara in 1 didn't seem gratuitous at all.

They have some ....uhh...large... women on their writer's team who they did not want to offend by putting them to shame in front of a sexy, yet computer rendered female.

Blame certain stores who've stated they won't stock games that contain nudity no matter what the rating is. Easier to just avoid it all together than to risk consumers not finding the game, yeah?

Not a big deal to me, but i did notice the change in ME2 from ME1. Still, I don't really care.

If you mean ME1 then no, ME1 wasn't produced by EA. It was just Bioware and Microsoft Studios at the time.

Didn't you know? If monsters are naked then it is fine and natural, if it is just a human naked then it is an abomination Image IPB
Hell, somehow it is even bad to show a character naked even in the shower despite it not even showing side-boob or anything at all.

Saying Christians aren't annoying is like saying Americans aren't fat. On average? It's a lie. Plain and simple =(

Fixed Image IPB It isn't just Christians, I find most people relatively annoying or just plain stupid. Part of the thing that proves it to me is how much censorship is jutted into our faces as well as the fact that people value opinions more than facts (at least until it is more convenient for them at the moment to use the facts). Seriously, watch Futurama during the day and you will hear "jerkwad" being bleeped out. When the hell did "jerk" or "jerkwad" because a cuss word?
