Wow, yesterday I had a little time to start Witcher 2. Right in the opening scenes I get a totally nude woman in bed next to me. I thought they would edit out whole frontal, but....nope,
It really was not porn or anything like usually the shoot from the hip poster say, even at the hint of skin. This Witcher scene came and went and felt pretty natural. I have to admire the whole seige stuff too, These people did their homework.
Not really related but...Over at another board I made a topic about using the Shadow Brokers terminal to tell some unseen stories on board the Normandy...you know in the form of audio logs. I used my Tali/Shepard romance as an example, and had them talking in bed, with rather innocent curiosity about each others bodies. I had Tali remarking on how unusual Shepard hands and feet were to her. Then I suggest later Shepard was touching her ear (Quraian ears are different than ours I believe). She asked him if he thought her ear was unusual to him too....Would you know, someone called that porn. Just hands and an ear, and its porn because they are in bed together.
I was just trying to say by using only text, how they could give the idea that Shepard and his romantic interest were together more than just with what we saw.. that there was an ongoing history, and many visits late at night to the captains quarters. I also tried to stress how this could tell other behind the scenes stuff, like the reporter (in my case) being pressured to get the story on the Shepard/Tali romance....And if she did get him to spill the beans, getitng some of the blow back, via e-mails about the uproar it was causing with the Quarians, now that it was out in the open. Imagine the emails between Tali and some of the higher ups over her romance outside of race. It would be fascinating. Just some big bang for a little technical effort IMO.
I'll say it here though, if they did use the Shadow brokers terminal to in writing play up some scenes we don't see between Shepard and their love interest, you could suggest nudity. Its not the same as actually seeing it, but with some clever wording it could also be pretty revealing on several levels.
