 My question is if you Romance Thane in ME2, (Kaidan ME1) If you choose the "lets go somewhere private" Option does it end your chance with Kaidan after Thane's death? Thanks in advance.

No, it doesn't end your chance. After Thane dies, during the Citadel lunch with Kaidan he will "forgive you for cheating" () and you will have the option to restart the relationship if you want.

I tried this and Kaidan didn't make a move on my fem shep BUT I was renegade to him on mars and paragon to him at the hospital, so maybe that's why, otherwise I had romanced him in Me1.

 O.o  Well, I thought for sure he would be ticked, but ok sounds good, LI with Thane is back on then LOL.  OH Chopter hair! I saw that somewhere on tv once, man what was that show?  Any ways I saw one where her hair was a pinwheel, I laughed and laughed, ah, good times.

Thane doesn't even unlock Paramour achievement. He was totally forgotten about

OOOHH, I love a good boy vs boy fight for a girls honor. Though Thane on his death bed could probably take him, I like my Kaidan don't get me weong but Thane would win.

Thane will always win. Unless he has to fight plot armor while wasting away from the degeneration of his lungs as his friends chill on the sidelines. And still, he almost wins.

But you should be good to "spend some time" with Thane and still get Kaidan. Kaidan still tries to get with my Shep, anyways.

As much brains as it takes to open your radiator cap after you've just driven your car for 2 hours and there's a warning on the cap NOT to do it.  Yeah, I did it.

Of course Kaidan won't care as long as you get him his booze. Thane was dying, he needed some pity sex before he kicked the bucket anyways.

You know I never stopped there and bought the present for Kaidan. Probably a good thing because I would have been tempted to beat him over the head with it. But to show I'm not a total jerk, I did buy the book for Ashley. Where were the prezzies for Thane? Does he not get any? Oh wait, no he doesn't. Maybe I should have bought that booze for Kaidan, then I could have used it to knock Thane over the head and drag him back to the Normandy. Too mean? Get him drunk then drag him back to the ship, perhaps? Yeah Plan A...Get Thane Drunk. If he won't drink, resort to Plan B and knock him out. I have evil Shepards.

Ah yes, "ME2 Romaces". Relationships with the characters from the previous game /Jack, Jacob Miranda and Thane). Bioware has dissmissed those paths.

I was very letdown by the neglect of Thane in Me3, both as a character and love interest. One small reunion and that's it? Come on.

Also, I didn't get the paramour achievement. Going back to Kaidan wouldn't have been worth it.

Devs not only tried to forcing FemShep to return to Kaidan. They also forced FemShep to felt guilty becouse of Thane. Don't know if You feel this same, but after  dialog with Kaidan, about so " called" cheating I felt really angry. Shepard can only lie to Kaidan about romance, or have two stupid options where she is saying how bad she is feeling about her another romance and how sorry she is about Kaidan. She try to explain with this " guilty" tone, like it was the worst thing she done. While male Shepard can tell Ashley that she was the one who left him on Horizon ( and at last he doesn't sound guilty about moving on with Miranda) it looks, like for BioWare female players havn't right to left Kaidan and just move on. Even only dialog with Thane is dominated by Kaidan.

To OP. Romance with Thane will not keep Kaidan away from You, don't worry. After Thane death, Kaidan still tried to return to my Shep. You have to work very hard just to avoid him. You have to be very rudy for him from the start of game. Looks like Kaidan is canon romance option for female players.

I felt exactly the same way. In fact, I was seething from the very get go. I mean the second I downloaded the demo and Kaidan showed up I wanted to cave in that smug little mug of his. I was willing to give him a go, even came to like him a little bit when I went back to play ME1 on my lappy (PS3 girl), but the second I started ME3, nope. Kill the bastard, get rid of him as soon as possible. Of course, stupid me was playing paragon, and Margurite, no matter her feelings towards him, won't kill him, even if it's just for old times sake, so I didn't get to kill him. But honestly.... gods I want to slaughter the people who were in charge of him some times for their crimes against continuity! You really do not want me to be in Canada any time soon. Even just typing this has made me so miserable and pissed off!!!................

Okay, I'm going to stop now before I offend to many people (sorry to those I have, honestly didn't mean to), but OP, don't worry, Kaidan will always want your Shepard, even if she doesn't want him. It's actually rather annoying and very immersion ruining for me. In RL the guy would have taken the hint after the Mars mission, but no, he has to keep hitting on a woman who's soulmate just DIED protecting her (my headcanon and I'm sticking to it!!!)

Sorry if You feel bad becousemy post. Don't get me wrong, I even like Kaidan, but I can't accept, what BioWare done with ME2 romances. I moved on to Thane with all my Sheps but one ( she stayed "loyal" to Kaidan) and Im just angry with things I got in game.
-Im going to hospital visiting Thane and what I get?
-e.. Thane ? Im just passing by while Im in hospital FOR Kaidan, but I can waste a minute for one dialog line...
-Oh hey my dying boyfriend, nice that You will put the rest of yours life in danger becouse of my ex..anyway do You want to have sex in a front of hundred others ppl?
-You know Kaidan, I felt like a crap becouse I moved on, but don't worry, Thane was only placeholder in my bed untill ME3 coming..I even will not care when he will be wounded and I will not see him at the end of game, instead I will get Liara.
Eh..I know, that those who romanced Jacob have worse experience, so maybe I shouldn't complain, but still...

BTW about buying something for Kaidan, Im not sure, if it's true, that if You will not give him a whiskey, You will be in a friend zone only. When I played a first time, I even never noticed that in a hospital I can buying something. And I still got "love" talk in a restaurant.
