I don't want to be a dick about it, but I'm just mildly annoyed by almost everyone on this site constantly saying race instead of species.

So it's more of a general pet-peeve, rather than targetting you specifically

It's just a video game thing. Different species of characters in video games have been referred to as "races" since at least StarCraft in 1998.

1. Quarian
2. Geth
3. Salarian (although if you ask my friends, this should be #1, since I am constantly changing subjects)

I'm female and for that reason would hesitate to say Salarian. Esheel and the other dalatrass were not very approachable. My favorite Salarian design was Chorban, but Morlan, Mordin, Kirahee, Padoc Wiks (sp?) and even Valern were just so cool. Not to mention the videogame salesman from ME2 or the guy with the heating unit stabilizers in ME3, were also memorable and fascinating.

Probably krogan that lives off world because barring disease or being murdered, krogan apparently have almost endless lifespans which is just awesome. Also, you can take a hit harder than anything else in galaxy.
