Level 58 Infiltrator is what I started with and so far its been a joke. I die maybe once a mission only because I get reckless and feel too powerful and tend to run out of cover and start running and gunning. Othewise sticking to cover, cloak, energy drain, incinerate, and the Phaseton and Black Widow at the highest levels possible to the point I'm at makes it easy.
Insanity is so FRUSTRATING!

Really? I have beaten Insanity 3 times and it's my default difficulty setting. I found it way too easy, but I guess it depends on your class & weapon loadout.
I play as Engineer (spamming incinerate and overload, rocket drone, Avenger X, and bonus power is AP ammo), Adept (spamming singularity + double throw/heavy warp, Avenger X, and bonus power is warp ammo), and Infiltrator (Tactical cloak, heavy incinerate, N7 Valiant X, and bonus power is AP ammo)
