If you've seen my other posts, kudos.

I am not writing this to shout over other people or claim my enjoyment of this trilogy (including those infamous endings) is based on anything more than taste, but just say that I thought there were many issues explored in Mass Effect that were interesting, and that conceptually, the endings provided me enough raw intellectual material to spark debate about the potentially catastrophic effects of technology, about advanced civilizations, about our human ingenuity, our social expansion, that bilateral framework that represents us, and how, out of natural order, chaos emerges out of our talent to create and refine and destroy.

That doesn't necessarily mean I didn't want the game to be clearer, or that I consider it some insightful masterpiece of unparalleled genius... or even that the criticism lobbied against Mass Effect isn't validated by arguments people have been making, only that I was entertained, engaged, and challenged to consider ideas reflected in the storyline.

I think my question is, as a work of science fiction, as a work of digital media, as a video game, what did you like about and think about as a direct response to something that occurred in Mass Effect 3, in particular?

Please don't flame. :(
