I've gone back to a 6/6/0/6/6 build myself, taking my Saber VI with me for long range heavy damage and more Asari Commando than just taking a pistol or SMG. Saber is like an 8 round BW.

..just finished a match with another Justicar actually and we had our bubbles overlapping. Reminded me of this lol.
Damn effective this Warp bubble is, plus Pull. Never really looked into Pull until now, with the AJ Duration bonus - the explosions may not be as powerful as the ones that Shockwave detonate, but its good for staggering near-by npcs and yanking those pesky Guardian shields.

I'd like to see someday a mixed team of "BE" Justicar offensive build and defensive AJ-AR build in action, one putting bubble specced for enemy weakness and warp for BE's on choke points and the other dropping a fully specced defensive bubble and casting additional reaves for the first
Speaking about it, whole AJ team of 4 could be build in such a way with 2+2 sub-squads.
Anybody interested in testing it online?

Strategy doesn't seem like it would work well on gold.
The reason it works on Gold is because of the Damage Reduction of stacked Reaves. Asari Justicars can get away with some pretty insane moves (like running up to bosses) that would get anyone else killed.

becuase rank 5 a evolution of the justicar is glitched and doesn't work so no use in taking itBroganisity wrote...

Why the increase in headshot damage? Aren't powers more important?
It could be largely personal choice. Along with that Reave and Pull aren't exactly friendly with each other when it comes to biotic detonations, so that could be it as well.
Either way I enjoyed reading your guide. I'll try this strategy if I ever get the Justicar.

^You mean the power damage, not the headshots?

Correct, rank 5 Power Damage evo does nothing for Reave, Bubble or Pull. Take Headshots or don't go higher than rank 4 of power passive.

tl;dr so i don't know if this has been mentioned, buuuut: as far as equipment goes, using adrenaline 3 as well as a cyclonic modulator and gear that improves your biotics (those two can be switched) helps a great deal.
strategy as follows; you look for a fresh spawn, reave 3-5 guys at once, then run over to them and pop a bubble over your reaved foes. every single explosion also damages the other foes, therefor creating massive damage. my best so far was blowing up 2 marauders and 3 cannibals with one attack (3 or 4 of them actually exploded, the other(s) got killed by the blast).
this is one of the most offensive, high-risk high-reward builds there is, and as such huge fun to play. as far as specs go, for this strategy you can leave away Pull totally as you'll probably never need it, or just drop rank 6 of Asari Justicar and go for the first 3 points in Pull to be able to explode smaller enemies from a distance. that you select light weapons for 200% cooldown doesn't really need to be mentioned, here i do it anyway.
have fun!

Haven't played this game in forever....does double bubbling still work?
I was extremely good and aggressive with an offensive double bubble playing gold before I left, but yesterday I got stomped on a silver level game....lol

eh, necro.. but sure I'll bite.
Offense/rushing bubble is still the way I play AJ, and as far as I can tell nothing about it has changed in terms of how the BEs work- only gotten better w/ new gear like the Geth Scanner (which is awesome for this build). Since laying the bubble is a universal detonator and tech explosions were changed you may be not getting as many BE's from the bubble if ur teammates are using tech primers like snap freeze, flamer, or incinerate- so maybe that's the issue. Fighting Geth still kinda sucks too, but that's about it.

Just an FYI since you're updating this classic: the Asari Justicar passive rank 5 power damage evolution does work since the Retaliation patch.
The new Reckoning pistol/SMG power mods plus a power amp also combine wickedly with Reave (but don't create more powerful BE of course). I love the CSMG for the AJA.
