Why are there DA mods in here answering questions rather then people from the ME team?

Flames are no worse than being a Tech support working in a call center and getting someone verbally abusing you. Those phone techs do no have to take the abuse that is dished out to them. one they warn a person to not verbally flame them they can hang up. Same process applies here. Once someones been warned then bam get banned from the forums for a certain time. Annoying but it happens.
Now the biggest problem would be for the fans, who would have to realize that a mod isn't a Dev and that what a mod says may not be gospel.

None the less what is the community manager dooing. You would think that communicating with the fans would be the primary function when you carry that specific title.

Absolutely understandable that until the extended cut is released we will most likely only get PR releases because every other (even harmless meant) comment would get over analyzed. All we can do is hope for the best, voice our opinion and wait and see. Though the current ending disappointed me a lot, I'm hopeful.
Most likely. I doubt they want to release anymore about the ending at the moment then they already have, you know to keep the options open or something along those lines.

Yup, maybe still keeping options open and having the opportunity to come out with a spectacular comeback. If they leak/discuss everything they want to do now, that chance goes out of the window, doesn't it?

I guess I wouldn't post in here either if I was working on ME3 and not being in the highest position of the company...

Epler, Allan, Stanley or any other mod, as they have done nothing but a fantastic job.
Speak for yourself.
Epler is the broest of bros, and Allan is the sidekicks of sidekicks.
Woo is...Well, Woo is Woo.

Allan gives me hope for a good DA3, that's for sure.

I hear things here and there about DA2, but I understand the biggest complaint to just be the over-used levels. I always heard the story and combat were actually a bit better? I don't know, I've been waiting until I have time to finish "Awakening" and "Witch Hunt" before diving in to DA2....

Imho the game is still worth it. Lots of great scenes regardless of the negative aspects such as the re-use of levels. Story is not as epic as in the first one, but the side stories are top-notch as always. I can only imagine the huge criticism is based on Bioware-standards, not game-standards
It's great to see the people involved in the DA series are being so passionate about the other Bioware projects. That's what shows me "they know what we want"

Still a much better game than 99% on the market.

That's good to hear. I'm ready to play it with an open mind - once I get there.
Don't want to turn it in to a "what was wrong with DA2 thread" so, back on track: it's super cool that the Devs use BSN to talk to fans in the first place. +1 for that!
It's sad so many people can't see how their attitude would make it difficult for the ME devs to feel comfortable coming on to the forum and saying anything. I keep trying to remind people, but some don't want to hear it: It's about persuasion and you get a lot further with people by being understanding, civil, and even-tempered than blowing your fuse, raging, using hyperbole, and calling names. Maybe one day some of these people will figure it out, but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath.

Because the the DA mods are listening to our feedback and passing it onto the DA3 team perhaps?
