So let me get this straight: You all were willing to shell tons on buying multiple PSPs with a very slight possibility of getting one of the Resurgence characters, yet when there's a guaranteed possibility of getting at least one of the new characters (all of which are of gold rarity) for the same price as a PSP, you complain? That makes no sense.

Looking past the character unlocks? Umm... I thought the highest point about Resurgence are the new characters.

I bought about 5 spectre and 5 prem spectres and got a single new character.
99k for a garaunteed new character is a fantastic deal.

Exactly. Took me around 1.3 million to get my first DLC character. For those that are looking for Resurgence items this pack is a steal.

+1. I've had really good luck with the new characters. In four of eight Spectre packs purchased in the last two days, I got a Geth Engineer (x2), Batarian Soldier, and Krogan Battlemaster. If you're not having that kind of luck, pay an additional 39k and be thankful for the chance to get these guys!

That's the Victory pack. The victory and resurgance packs are not the same. I got a free Krogan Battlemaster in mine.

Either way, willing to give the pack a few tries. In my first I got the Disciple V and Geth Infiltrator (which funnily enough, I just got in my Victory Pack) so not a bad initial impression.

Yes, I'd prefer a higher chance of N7 weapons again too, but hey, it's better than nothing.

They are free. You don't have to pay any $ for them. You just have to spend credits in game which again cost no $

My buddy just got a Black Widow with a Batarian Soldier, I say... that's a good deal. It's better than the Spectre pack, so I don't see the problem. 99,000 is not hard to get either.

They're of gold rarity. So yes, there is a rather low possibility. You just so happen to get lucky.

It seems to give gold characters, whether new or not: or at least, I got a Quarian engineer out of the one I bought. Which is fine, since I didn't have her. The reward pack, otoh, gave me a character card I already had - but a resurgance.

They seem to be pretty good for the price, as long as you still have characters you want. If not, by Spectre.

You have a chance to get an Ultra weapon out of the Resurgence Pack

+1 to this, people here will complain about anything, it seems.

Personally I wish they'd do more packs like this, high priced but with a guarantee to get something from a specific cagtegory of item.  I would totally shell out 99k credits or more for a pack with nothing but weapon mods or w/e.

You just got lucky. There's 41 gold cards right now and 6 Resurgence characters, meaning 6/41 odds, or a little less than 15%.

Which makes it hard for me to understand why people don't agree with the price on these packs. It would take approximately 7 Spectres to get a new character, or 420k(or 4 PSPS at 400K). The new packs give you a 66% chance to get a new character(since there's also the 3 guns), for 99k. You're getting much better value if you're hunting for DLC cards, it's simple math.

wow....seriously? your outrage reminds me that of a 13 year old brat. if you want to call the shots, go start your own game company up. 99k isn't bad for the pack and some people are interested in seeing this. just cause you may have everything unlocked...i know plenty of people who don't have a single character unlocked and they played all weekend. i'm tired of seeing premium spectre packs, but i don't take to the internet to p!ss and moan about it. why? cause i'm sure that a good chunk of the community likes seeing them, and next week maybe something i want will be up. bunch of crybabies. i'd rather see equip packs....but i'm not going to put down the people who don't or want ANOTHER week of premium spectre packs.

It's a mite annoying that I've bought two so far, and gotten Geth Plasma SMGs both times.  I can already tell that these are going to be the trolliest of packs.  I think people would have much preferred a pack that guaranteed a character-I know I would have, especially since my Victory Pack unlock was for one of the two Resurgence characters I already had.

That said, I know why Bioware didn't do that, and the fact that you get another rare in the pack is good.  Aside from the garbage SMGs, the packs had good stuff.  I just know I'm going to save up a bunch of credits and end up with Harpoon Gun VII by the end of this week.  Let's go whaling, y'all.
