I only need her for war assets other than that she has no other usefulness for me. No romance
Who here loved Diana Allers and thought she added to the story?

******. all the way. a more idiotic shallow character there has never been.
A character like that makes perfect sense in a witcher - type of game, where there's ****** galore and so on.
But this is just a waste of resources.
As someone said on bsn, it appears she licked more than a psp

I like how they stuck her in the room that in ME2 Zaeed shared with the waste disposal unit

I didnt know Chobot before, and didnt care.
I know her now just because of all the b.... here on BSN and still dont care.
No idea why anyone puts so much thought into this absolutely irrelevant crap, then again, its highly emotional and emotions dont always have reason, humans ...

I loved Diana Allers, mostly for her body, but there are many different kinds of love. I don't know if she added to the story though, except for me, who learned that cheating on the Shadow Broker will lead to a day of reckoning.
I don't know or care how Jessica Chobot got into ME3. My game experience would be less without her. So, I am just grateful that she is.

Is speculate the new buzz word on the forum?
When I heard the word chobot I actually thought that bioware were going to add a Chii type android from Chobits to ME3.

I don't feel strongly either way about her, but war assets are war assets.
I can't help but feel Emily Wong was offed specifically to get her out of the way so Allers would be uncontested as the reporter though. I mean, Emily isn't even mentioned in game, the hell is up with that?

Isn't there something wrong with an employee for a major games reviewer being put in a game?
So...the review from the company will be objective?

She was mainly ******. Some arse.
I didn't know she was from IGN or whatever until after I'd finished the game, and I don't see it as a negative now I know. As a character she was just kinda there. Not offensive, but not important. So like I said. She seemed mainly there for the ******.

If they had added more content with Shepard spewing propaganda... paragon or renegade... Having effects on the galaxy..
Shepard with a Berlusconi complex
Then you hear a batarian on the citadel..
Batarian: Whatever channel or program im watching seems to talk about that damn human... Shepard said this shepard did that... HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!!
Other Batarian: Least he's tellign people to kill reapers, I do hate reapers more than I hate humans, least after what they did to our homeworlds and my family.
First Batarian: Still doesn't make it feel ok!

When I saw these:

I thought: Hey!! A better Kelly Chambers arrives. Easier to shag, lots of licking guns'n'stuff!!
But srsly: I thought she would be
a) joining the crew on one or two missions to cover the action (and be saved dozens of times by us, with crisp remarks from Garrus, abut recalibrating his gun on her head)
making interesting interviews
c) leaking some info
Instead:
a) she got awful facial animation
afwul body
c) underdeveloped character
d) can't do VA
So no, never have, never will like her.

The only reason I brought her onboard was because I assumed she would be some kind of bonus modifier for the War Assets. Which she is apparently.
As a character? Totally uninteresting. It would be an improvement of she had a personal side story or mission that somehow affected your possibility to recruit. War propaganda drama of some kind.

How dare you offend Jar Jar!
He:
a) had more facial expression
c) tons of situations where you hade to save him
If Diana Allers was made the same way Jar Jar was, she would be kinda funny/entetaining.
"Oh god damn it. Allers is again stuck in a corridor with her camera. Garrus go get her"

Loved is too strong a word here for me. I liked the IDEA behind her (having a reporter to support the cause). I wasn't that happy with the way it was presented. So my overall opinion about her is "had some funny lines, else meeeh".
I didn't know Jessica Chobot because I don't care about IGN. Now that I know about her, I still don't think the idea of using her was all bad, but it showed an... uncomfortable relationship between game producers and game reviewers.
Concerning her voice acting: I didn't think it was that bad. However, keep in mind that english isn't my native language, and I'm good with most english voice acting as long as it isn't completely off (and this one wasn't completely off for me).

I just think that her character was a completely waste of potential. First time I saw her I really thought that she will be pretty important in the story and was going to be like a character who would question Shepard about all his past actions. I thought she would make you, as a player, reflect all the choices you made.
But at the end of the game I thought that she was kind of a favour that Bioware did to IGN.

I didn't care about her one way or another during the game. An onboard reporter is a good idea that could have been expanded more.
The ridiculous but predictable overreaction to her on these forums has given me more sympathy for both Chobot and BioWare than I expected to have.
