I think Jessica Chobot is a decent reporter (though licking a PSP, come on Jess, you're better than that). But she is a poor actor.

Now I like the idea of her character, but she voices it so poorly that I can't enjoy it. As well, we had a great reporter in game that fans really loved.

The wartime correspondent slot should have gone to Emily Wong.

As far as Diana Allers goes, I took her for the few War Asset points. Other than that, I was largely indifferent to the character.

I was not a fan of Diana Allers as a character. I did, however, very much like the fact that she became my means of communicating with the galaxy on what I was doing and why it was right. The war asset points that came with that were nice, but I mostly just liked that she let me tell the galaxy how things are, cuz people listen to Shepard.

I didn't hate her. I just thought the voice acting was terrible, the face looked weird (possibly due to scanning issues, Miranda's face in-game looks really weird as well IMO) and I was sad we didn't get Emily Wong of even Khalisah Bint Sinan al Jilani (after the persuasion).
The idea as such was a good one and I even think that 2 or so questions every now and so often was enough but yeah, the implementation was problematic.

I miss Emily at least I built a relationship with her. But oh wait ME3 was about apealing to more non ME players so you never had to play the other two games. Worst Marketing idea ever. Any time I see these words again I will know to Run.

When finally we get the chance to shut khalisah al-jilani up. They give us a new annoying one that we want to feed to the Reapers before destroying them.

I don't mind her, really. I don't think she adds anything as a character, and would have preferred Emily Wong since we had a history, but I don't hate her or anything.

I have nothing against Jessica Chobot but Diana Alers was a waste of space in my humble opinion. 

Emily Wong would have been a much better choice as she already has history with Shepard and would have added so much more the story.

I didn't even know who Chobot was until this game, and I was completely neutral to Allers, just glad that she at least got me war assets...although her trying to get into my pants was a little creepy...

I was incredibly dissapointed when I discovered that I only ever got to answer one or two of her interview questions. Her face model creeps me out... what is wrong with your face!

I thought that the war assets were going to be a major part in the game so I decided not to throw her out the airlock.... what is wrong with your face!

Before I decided to talk to her she repeated the same two words every 3 sedonds... after listening to her say "Commander Shepard" with her incredibly annoying voice for more than 40 seconds I started looking for a weapon.. preferribly a flamethrower... also, what is wrong with your face!!

I never knew of Chobots existance untill I encountered her name on these forums. I couldn't even remember her name while I was writing this. Luckely I was able to copy it from a post that was made prior to my own.

On my initial playthrough, I didn't even know that Chobot was the VA behind Allers. Didn't even know who "Chobot" was until I found the hate threads.

With that said... Allers was a pointless character who added nothing more than a few points to my War Assets.

Diana Allers is a great addition to the story! She shows just how much better the others voice actors are, how well written the other characters are, and how well animated and modelled they are. She's that ugly friend you take to a bar to make yourself look better in comparison...

Well for one she is a terrible voice actress and brought nothing to the game itself. I can forgive that if not for the fact that she works for IGN.com, that proves how broken the game-rating system is that someone from a major gaming news organization can appear in a highly anticipated game.

I thought it was a gtraz idea to have a war correspondnet on board of the normany, but I'm still not sure what kind of pot the BW people were smoking tió give the part to Chobot.

Frankly I would be surprised if anybody liked her part except for the eyecandy.

I loved Diana Allers. Her character fit my Shepard's personality perfectly. I couldn't wait to invite her to the Normandy and let her interview me about all the important things my Shepard had done. Her character's face was also really well done and looked very natural. Diana Allers is my Shepard's only LI.

I also loved the Voice Acting--Best in the series.

As someone who likes their women fairly svelte, Allers really isn't my idea of eye candy. Especially when combined with that terrible hamster face. That also meant I was very upset that they felt the need to modify Liara's war assets... she was perfect the way she was, bigger isn't always better.
