I loved Diana Allers. Her character fit my Shepard's personality perfectly. I couldn't wait to invite her to the Normandy and let her interview me about all the important things my Shepard had done. Her character's face was also really well done and looked very natural. Diana Allers is my Shepard's only LI.

Hate to be an echo, but it's how I feel: it should've been Emily Wong, since you develop the perfect rapport with her to justify it -- and for all the same reasons that Allers mentions when you "recruit" her, and a few more on top of that. I can tolerate Allers enough, though, and Chobot by association.

I would have rather had Emily Wong or Khalisa Al-jilani as the reporter. Heck, they could have given us the choice, like they did with Dr. Michel vs Dr. Chakwas.

Gotta say, they handled the Elcor LI angle very well with her character! I was quite surprised by how it went.

Seriously, I feel there was favoritism there. She's not an actor (she's not a geek, period), nor do I feel she voiced her lines well (a sentiment many have expressed here). The fact that she added so little to the game also annoyed me. Why spend that much time into her game avatar, dialog, etc. TALI has been in all three games and is a fan-favorite. We couldn't get a face for her? PS. I mean a face done like the other characters, with rendering software.

Jessica's voice acting made it seem like she didn't know what she was talking about most of the time...

Example: "I'm a military reporter with a show called 'Battlespace.'"

The way it's delivered makes it sound like she doesn't believe she's actually part of a show or even knows what her own show is called. The kind of delivery she gives for most of her performance makes her character unconvincing. She sounds more like someone pretending to be a reporter.

I believed Emily Wong and I believed Khalisha Bint Sinan al-Jilani, but I couldn't believe Diana Allers.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't let you choose between what reporters you wanted to bring on the ship. They did it with Dr. Chakwas and Dr. Michel.

When I first met Diana Allers, I was playing and my son was watching.
When she first appeared in close-up, my son and I exclaimed "AAAAAAH!" at the same time when we saw her face. Then, we just stared at each other like, wtf. True story dude.

Good. Maybe she will take the hint and not show up in any more video games. I don't watch AotS for the same reason that Chobot made it into ME3.

You want a celebrity cameo? Fine. Make sure it's someone who can actually act. If TIM had actually been modeled after Martin Sheen, my mind would have been so thoroughly blown by the epicness of his every scene that I might have ignored the crappiness of the ending.

I had no idea who Chobot even was before I came to the forum to figure out what the hell happened to the ending. I wish it could have stayed that way. Allers was annoying when she first showed up, creepy once I actually had a conversation with her and fell right into the uncanny valley, and insulting once I realized exactly what she was.

I only take her on the Normandy because she increases overall krogan war assets after Priority: Tuchanka. If she didn't...she should diaf.

ugliness aside, she really didn't add anything to the game. I would expect like at least a cutscene of her covering certain missions from the sidelines, to show what the normandy is doing, even a funny video of shepard dancing, but nope, shes just hunker down in the engineering bay.

As far as I've read we can see just a kiss before the cutscene will fade to black and she doesn't become locked as your LI.

Hated her on all levels. Even watching her bad lip syncing to what she is saying is all wrong.

Why did we get her over Emily Wong or better still Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani still irritates me. Both of them would be infinitely better and already have a background with Shepard and what’s been going on.

I guess its just sex appeal marketing to draw in more sales for those thinking with the wrong body part. To bad I cant stand either Allers or Chobot.

It's nothing exceptional, something like "Let's lock the door and bang, ok?" She says "Let's keep it quiet." and that's it!
